The Chicken or the Egg, Which Came First?

You know what is funny? The inspiration for my story eternal was drawn from this question and applied to something else. God or the universe, which came first. If God created the Universe, who created God, and where did God exist before the universe was made? My readers probably don't know that...

    Do you work out?

Does lying on my bed and flexing my leg muscles count? I wouldn't say I work out, since the gym is like a foreign world to me. However, I trek a lot. I mean... a lot. And every once in 10 months I go jogging.

I wrote a fight scene and looking for pointers

First off, writing a story using present tense is a tall order for even the best of authors. Besides that, I don't like reading stories written in present tense. However, because you're writing in present tense, just like the previous post pointed out, you jump between tenses. You go from...

    Phrases nobody want to hear

I'm sorry, she's dead. What kind of people have been asking you out on dates?!

    Perfectionism ruined me.

An editor told me this once, "Every writer has inherent biases that creates flaws in their stories. Some want to tell the story of a disabled person, but because they are able-bodied they cannot tell the story well enough, or they are disabled and cannot tell the stories of their able-bodied...

Do you like critique that hasn't been asked for?

Isn't it the best kind? As long as it isn't just sitting on my work without offering any solutions, suggestions and pointing out specific areas to improve in, I'm fine with it. When I ask for critique it sometimes feel like people are kind in their assessment as a courtesy. Not my younger...

Have you ever gotten bored of a story you are working on but don't want to stop because the readers keep requesting it?

My first instinct is for you to find ways to make it interesting again. Why is it boring? Can you change it? Can you add new subplots? If the story itself isn't the problem, then you have to work through it, it might just be a phase. However, if you still feel bored writing this after trying...

    Writing Relatable or Accurate?

Depends for me. Either way is fine, it just depends on whether the color serves any other purpose than being a color. If I wanted it to be dramatic, I would be very descriptive. However, it it just a color that doesn't serve the plot in anyway, I'll just name it and move on.

What if your thoughts leaked into the real world?

Sounds fun. I'll create a character like that in my story, has to happen organically, so maybe later. Ooooh! I'm actually excited.

    Self doubt

Oho. I feel the same, and it is distressing to see that even with success that feeling doesn't go away. I've been working hard to convince myself I'm not that bad a writer, my story just isn't popular. Well, I guess I better make peace with this feeling then. I'm going to become best buds with it.

What if your thoughts leaked into the real world?

Given the number of times people have called me thoughtless, I probably will be safe. You'll see nothing, because I am thoughtless. Jokes aside (if you call that a joke), people will probably run away from me. I spend days imaging the various ways I can kill people, what they'd feel in their...

    Finally it happened!

Oh ho. I can, but I don't even need to. As things are I might get to 50 chapters before getting 100 readers.

What do you do when you get like a brain fatigue while writing a chapter? How do you go back in the 'zone'?

I stop writing, then go back to fantazing about my world and the characters I've made. Eventually, the story becomes interesting to me again, and when that happens it is almost impossible for me to not write.

[18+ Discussion] Not for everyone!!! Malepreg dilenmas

So, does it have to follow human rules? Are your character humans? If not, I would just create a new genitalia for males. Or, maybe even make them lay eggs. But, if they are humans and have to follow human rules, surgery.

So, how many projects you pretend to be currently working on?

1 that I'm publishing on a weekly basis, 2 that I have started recently, but I don't want to start publishing until I am at least half-way through with the story. The one I am publishing isn't pre-written and the stress of meeting my deadline is enormous. I have learned my lesson.

    What Good Thing Happened Today?

Well, technically it's been days already, but on Monday I posted the 10th chapter of my story. That marked 10 weeks of consistent updates to my story with no breaks. Given that it isn't a pre-written story, I'm feeling pretty good.

    Recommendations Porn novels

Hehehehehe. Reminds me of the incest story I was writing years ago on literotica. Had to stop cause of school, but now that I'm back to writing I just might pick it back up. Maybe I'll even post it here, if the rules allow me.
