Most of my ideas were used at some point in the past. Unless it goes to paid publication it really isn't an issue (though it can kind of feel like cheating if you "reuse" someone else's title).

For me it would all have a range depending on how well done it is and if it crosses into any other genres. Smut and BL would be near the bottom, Drama dead center, Comedy, School Life and Slice of Life literally anywhere, Sci-Fi all but A-Tier, and everything else A-D.

Well, no smut (go more with the James Bond "It's going to happen, fade to black, it happened and maybe talk about it a bit" model) but otherwise Strange Awakening fits this. Am also working on one that will eventually fit this bill but starts GB/GL but that is only in CH4 right now.

Yeah, the hooks planned after the first book are stronger IMO. In part by design - book one is an origin story, setting up the rest of the series (and his crossover into Strange Awakening - which takes place after his unwritten third book). Thanks - it is a genre I haven't really worked in...

Well, I had an AI do the initial image and then did a lot of editing. I wanted half fire, half ice for the background and that was what it came up with. Honestly had not thought of using an ice table (and it would, honestly, fit the noir theme better, but not the concept of the two villains).
