    Is everyone a moron?

Honestly, that was the only thing I could figure out from it, and was not even sure of the context there...

    Four Ages

To be honest, this is the first one I did NOT like. Not sure why, it just does not appeal to me. Nothing wrong with it, just... not my cup of tea, I guess.

    Is everyone a moron?

No clue what your first post says but to answer the subject line: "Yes, at some point in their lives, everyone IS a moron. For most, the majority of their lives they are not, but even the best of us has our moron moments, and some never have anything BUT..."

How to not write a tragedy?

That could be a great source of dark comedy - the therapist trying to help them and steadily going just a wee bit more insane each time...

What's the difference between Smut and Ecchi stories with R-18?

Hmm - if your definitions are correct, then I very, very rarely write smut but most of what I write is either ecchi or erotica. Interesting.

Why did you create your stories? And what motivates you to continue?

Oh, I don't think I really answered why I continue writing: These stories just want to come out. I half think they would go to someone else on their own if I didn't write them (and, sometimes, a new one pops up and crowds out the rest).

    WONK. WONK WONK?

So basically they're bird-like Groots? If they could get through three movies and a special with a character having a five word vocabulary (I, Am, Groot, We and Are), one chapter should be fine.

Do you guys like when a story tells you the end from the get-go?

Ah, the movie Fallen, I think it was, did this well - with the narrator saying that this is the story of how he almost died or something like that in the opening scene...

    Can Comments Get Filtered?

Note that there are three blue links in each notification. The "Chapter Comment" link takes you to the comment in question. The other links take you either to the poster's profile or to the front page of your story.

Writing Prompt Make some blooper scenes for your characters

I would probably just have to convert some scenes in "Between Worlds" to scripts - pretty much kept in some of what would be considered bloopers... :D Not so much in the other stories. Might be a fun exercise with Jack Diamond though... maybe I'll do something there.

How to not write a tragedy?

I tend to gravitate towards either epic fantasy, horror, or super-heroes myself, regardless of what I start to write. It takes discipline and forcing myself to do something that does not eventually become one of these things (or a mix of them). You just have to set a challenge for yourself and...

    Information Exposure Done Right?

Put out just enough information to set the stage, and have the characters discuss anything that the reader needs to know. If you need more of an info dump, have a few scenes where the characters research something and either share their discoveries direction (in first person) or through...

Do you guys like when a story tells you the end from the get-go?

USUALLY I hate it. Every once in a while it pays off - and I remember one story that seemed to give away the ending but really gave away the mid-point, and shifted from past tense with occasional present tense asides by the narrator to present tense when the action hit the point the first...

Why did you create your stories? And what motivates you to continue?

Started in general? Dad worked at a newspaper and brought home a roll of newsprint that was "crooked" and would have messed up the printing machines, but the company had paid for it and was going to throw it out. I started drawing (really bad) comic books on it (along with anything else I...

    Information Exposure Done Right?

If I remember the story I heard last night correctly, that was for math. Reading is worse.

[Vent] For Authors who just need a moment to let it all out

More it means you need to know enough to fake it. I have a character who is an expert in several types of advertising, where I have slightly more than zero experience. I have two characters who are programming experts, and my programming knowledge is about 30 years out of date. I have...

Forgotten Title Absorbing metal into skeleton

THe abandoned "Rise of the Skeleton King" kind of went into this but is probably not what you're looking for (and it "died" at Chapter 25)

Do you monetize your writing ?

I've tried with no success. Haven't got my Patreon to a usable point, and my Ko-Fi page is ignored.

Best Time to Release a Novel?

Not exactly; IME, it's best to release the first five chapters as quickly as you can (whether this is in a batch of five, or two the first day and three the next, or one a day for five days does not make a LOT of difference), and then keep a steady release schedule after that.

Best Time to Release a Novel?

How many chapters did you load with the first one, or did you only load one? I would suggest bringing the total to five ASAP if you have not already sent that many - but then do no more than 1 a day to avoid triggering anti-spam filters.
