I'm a completely new author, new to this site too. I decided to write something for fun because I got bored of being a reader. So naturally I have a lot of questions and things to learn.
I started writing in the POV of a happy go lucky protagonist with some ridiculous things happening to serve as humor.
But I don't intend to write a story that's comedy from start to finish. So recently in chapter 6 I experimented with a POV switch to flesh out the world a little bit more. I've seen this done a lot back when I was reading web novels.
However, it seems quite a bit of people are just not reading past that chapter lol, maybe they liked the POV of the protagonist. Even though I'm not planning to make a single cent out of this, it's making me feel like I've messed something up. It's just not a good feeling in general.
I also tried to run a poll, and no one is voting. So if possible, I want some opinions from people here on whether I should stick with the single POV of the protagonist going forward and work around it.
