You'd only need to describe it in detail once. The reader will remember that the otherworldly being is making sounds the MC doesn't understand. The rest of the time could be as easy as "It kept making that incomprehensible noise, though MC thought he heard a word he knew in the middle of it."

For general people without medical issues, I think a good first step is to get used to tracking calories before you start eating with a deficit. Get a calorie tracking app (Calorie Counter, My Fitness Pal, whatever) and log every single thing you eat. Meals. Snacks. Desserts. Don't guess...

You could always go with the simplest approach: "It spoke in a language MC did not undertand." Followed by a description. Writing out the demon language isn't super necessary unless you have a plot reason.
