Do you write the ending or beginning first?

I start with a premise and build from there. Like I think where I want it to go then add milestones or plot points I want to keep. Then I write as I go. Then discover things that I need to add or remove or maybe things I want to change. Then I edit the story. When it gets particularly bad...

    Need Feedback: Horizon Dawn

Hmm... I don't have much time right now so I was only able to read your first chapter. My initial impression of it was pretty good, there are ways to build a little more impact and also some grammar errors to fix. I can write a more detailed review later on (I got 5 minutes till class so...

    Feedback to my story

Hello I can give you some feedback for your first chapter. Most of my help is on the way you write so story wise I won't say much unless you want me to. Ok so first of all the POV is in first person which changes the dynamics and writing style. You have to avoid writing in a way that looks like...

    Nostos: Open World Multiplayer

Looks really interesting! It looks fun to play especially for a casual player like me. It incorporates some survival aspects which make production type players really useful but most of all graphics are amazing. I look forward to being able to fly there tho it looks like it would be great!

What's your favourite piece of art?

Hmmm... traditional art is fun I especially love it when the colors balance out and have good contrast And if the POV is right and the proportions are right oh my goodness I swoon A fun medium to look at is watercolors and acrylics I find them pretty easy to handle after all.

A Razors Edge - Balance between description and brevity

Hmmm mostly I place more detail when setting up a place or add a bit more words so I can set the mood. Then I use a lot less when there is some action going on. ^ thats my general workflow although I'm not sure if it will help.

Some feedback for my work blez!

As I continue to read the 1st chapter I can't help but comment. There is a certain part of the story where I am bombarded by adjective after adjective; descriptive detail after descriptive detail, and it feels overwhelming. There is also a repetitive use of words that can already be replaced by...

Need tips for getting from event A to event B

When writing we have to string events together to form a cohesive story and timeline. Honestly I have the events in my head and what event happens after event A but I'm lacking in terms of transition. Like I'm unable to place a buffer between event A and event B and make it seem natural. It...

How do you make a likeable romantic interest?

I prefer ships where the partners grow and support each other. Also I live for the overdose of sugar when the ship has sailed. AND!!!! NOT TO FORGET!!!!! I DISLIKE IT WHEN ONE PARTY IS TOO DOMINANT OVER THE OTHER THAT IT SEEMS LIKE THE OPINION OF THE OTHER IS IGNORED. ^ although other said...
