    Give me something to read.

Two of my stories spend a lot of time in Slice of Life but that is not their "core genre" (one is Superheroes - Strange Awakening - and the other Fantasy - Between Worlds). Linked in my sig (or on my profile, if you're on mobile), if you're interested.

Powerscaling: Tell me about the most powerful character in all your novel/s

Everything in my stories tends to have a balancing factor somewhere (even if not immediately apparent - or if someone who needs to develop power over time). For example, eventually, Jack Diamond should be able to challenge him but initially the Morgan Price/Morgalis fusion is insanely powerful...

    Stub Warning or Genre

If there are only a few free chapters and the rest is behind a paywall, maybe add a "Promotional" tag - "This is a promotional/sample of a story available elsewhere"?

It should be allowed to check the harddrive from certain authors

On one hand, this kind of thing is always disturbing. On the other hand, it may be that the author is working out their own issues on the page INSTEAD of acting them out in reality. Unless you personally know the author, calling their psychological state out may be inappropriate at best...

    Bugs Year statistics wrong

I can't even find anything beyond the one month stats to check this myself.

What is your favorite chapter that you have written?

Probably the first half of the one I just posted to Between Worlds - from a cat's point of view.

As long as the crazy alien psychopath does all the heavy lifting it should be fine. If the girl winds up being the hero all the time, then it's just another Mulan.

    Feedback for Feedback

Dark Bonds: The Demon Within | Scribble Hub Should be the correct link - the one in the OP does not work. And I would say the synopsis gives too much away (feels more like a summary than a synopsis) unless this is going to be a short story and each paragraph ties one-to-one with a chapter...

AI Fiction Update: The Machines Are Coming For Our Words.

I suspect he's doing advertising given that he's already making money but I did not ask.

New story, 18/20 chapters posted. Would love some feedback.

It's there, but hidden if you're on a mobile device 8 Chronicles: Eden | Scribble Hub

    AI opinion

So essentially using Cliff's Notes for a book report, but on a larger scale. I have heard one other common and decent use - to set up encounters for role-playing games. Have never tested this myself, but know some people who claim to have had great results with it - they just give it a general...

AI Fiction Update: The Machines Are Coming For Our Words.

Right - it is a tool. Used carefully and well, it is a great tool; used the way about 90% of people are using it ... it is a very, very bad thing. It is replacing (or becoming part of) the "smart-" prefix (smartphone, smarthouse, smartcar, smart-coffeemaker) as a sales tool rather than a real...

AI Fiction Update: The Machines Are Coming For Our Words.

Knowing someone who was at the admin assistant/programmer level at Microsoft when they abandoned their AI product (since ChatGPT hit the market and did everything they were working on, most of it better) you are not far off here - but are not absolutely correct either. Current AI is meant as a...

Using perspective change as a crutch

Don't know the title of it but one of the audionovels my wife was listening to had one chapter that covered the character's first three years as a child (he was reincarnated twice before being born as a child, and had most of his memories aside from a few blocked trauma ones intact), another...

And ChatGPT was caught cheating against a computer opponent programmed only to play chess - it actually hacked into the code and copied it!

Writing Making MAGIC 2 - Writing Magical Battles

WotC bought D&D in the 90s and made that change on their own, to avoid upsetting people already ticked off over an unfortunate piece of art originally developed by SSI for one of the "gold box games" and reused TWICE by TSR that depicted Dark Elves as having African physical traits and coloring...

    Recommendations VRMMO Litrpg

Working on one on and off (kind of stalled at chapter 12 as the MC is forming a posse; he was isekaied into a server based on cinematic Western tropes), but haven't posted it anywhere yet. So I guess that doesn't help you YET... maybe in a few weeks... :D

    Looking for feedback

Kind of a tangent here but that sounds like soap opera plotting; they do things in "quick takes" - had someone explain this in terms of gaming, that the action follows one character until EITHER they meet one or more other main character(s) (in which case the action freezes and moves to a...

    Feedback on dwarves requested?

Look up "dwarves" in mythology (and ignore the genetic term "dwarfism"): they are always muscular, usually dark complected, and stocky. However... Norse dwarves were 9 to 12 feet tall (shorter than the smallest of the Jotun, the giants, but larger than humans by a good deal and slightly larger...
