Looking for someone to review my work and I'm willing to do review swaps.

Always amuses me that one of the most feared thugs (he really wasn't more than just a thug in the movies - novels and comics grew Darth Vader into a truly impressive villain) of all time started out as Little Orphan Ani...

Care to comment on this synopsis?

I would say either leave it completely vague as to how she's being watched or keep the black Mercedes reference if the specific car actually means something.

What is the strangest way to accept tips that you can think of?

Is it considered a "tip," a "bribe" or "extortion" if they pay you to stop trying to sell them Final Expense Insurance?

Care to comment on this synopsis?

The tense is uneven. Maybe more like: "Alice knew she was different, driven by an occasional bloodlust that, among other things, made her adolescence even more awkward. Now, as a new romance threatens to unleash her inner demons, she finds she seems to be under constant surveillance. Worse...

What is the strangest way to accept tips that you can think of?

Is it better to have no cover art or AI cover art?

More than most computers but far less than a liquid-cooled Cray supercomputer (and, I've seen some personal rigs designed for ultra-high end gaming that use water cooling systems that are far in excess of what AI requires). Well, yes but that might not stand out enough in a crowded marketplace...

Are stories written by AI good?

The first people I know who successfully used AI were doing superhero games (the first one was a game I've never played but the second was for Champions ... which, if you don't have years of experience, may NEED a computer to run sometimes).

Are stories written by AI good?

I'm talking tabletop games. A lot of people I've talked to have used AI to generate "filler" scenarios or starter adventures for campaigns. The AI/LLM builds the adventure, draws maps, suggests rewards and offers plot hooks but no actual plots unless the prompt included one.

    Best modern/urban/contemporary stories?

As this is mostly what I read (and what I've written and shared so far) probably can't help much. Except for the System/LitRPG-like elements, this might count: I Blinked and now I’m Famous | Scribble Hub

Favorite Author/Book/Webnovel and least favorite Author/Book/Webnovel?

I read two of the books (out of sequence, I think the second and fifth, in the opposite order) and saw three episodes (the first two and one other random one). The books were really impressive - dark, complex stuff that the show came very, very close to capturing well. Kind of surprising, really.

Are stories written by AI good?

This might be why I've heard there were some very good "Old School Style" game adventures created entirely by AI. Either the prompts included a story, or the person designing the module (as happened in some of the "classics") didn't worry about an overall story, just made sure there were a few...

Apparently coming up with your own pantheon is hard… who knew?

Oh, one thing that helped me when I was developing one for my fantasy world, was realizing that a lot of the gods in actual mythologies seem to share "portfolios" and a few seem to be "reskinned" versions of each other. This is especially true of European ones (and a lot of the Middle Eastern...

Will the views be affected if I first posted a rough draft then refine it later???

Well, it will usually increase number of views by two, at least in my experience, as it seems to count your opening to edit it, and then viewing the edited page the first time each as a separate view. Otherwise, it will only change numbers if you let people know and they care enough to come back...

How should I keep my audience hooked??

Have something for them to care about - story, character, puzzle. Keep things moving. If you must slow things down, insert bits of humor where you can as a sort of apology.

    Satyr Race Bio

Given that there is a psychological condition named for their legendary promiscuity, personally I would either lean into it, or ignore it all together and make them different than expected.

Apparently coming up with your own pantheon is hard… who knew?

My world had a fairly simple pantheon ... sort of (well, it also permitted the players to choose any gods from Deities and Demigods and they suddenly had a presence but that's another issue...). Selaria, Goddess of the Twin Sons Coriddion, Ascended Moon God and God of Heroes, her mate...
