A meshiver of relationship in a platonic romance between asexual species

True cellular mitosis would generate a nearly exact copy. But budding would produce a child which may have deviations from the original.

    Trench warfare activity

IIRC, the trenches of WWI was where Tolkien first wrote some of his essays of fairy land, which (coupled with a hatred of war developed there) proved to be the seeds that grew into Lord of the Rings.

    Sci-fi compared to Fantasy?

Sci-Fi is built on believed scientific principles at the time of its writing. Fantasy rarely worries about that. For example, stuff like E. E. "Doc" Smith's Skylark series looks more like Fantasy (or "Science Fantasy" given the presence of galaxy-hopping starships) today, but were based on what...

Motivation Challenges I Face as a Japanese Writer Translating into English

How do I stay motivated? Well, until last week it was "find stories that want to be told and let them BE told" ... then it became "Wait... PocketFM wants that story? Damn, now I have to really write it instead of just dabbling..."

Most entitled thing a reader has ever said?

And that meant something different than the current use - "Thumbs Up" meant "Step back, if they get up continue the fight." "Thumbs Down" meant "Drop your weapon, you won" and a thumb pointed to the chest meant "Stick your weapon in them so they can't get up again"...

    Do you guys read Wuxia/Xianxia?

My wife occasionally listens to them but I have never actually read one.

    What are you looking for?

My wife listens to a lot of audiobooks. Avoid modern ones - the majority have AWFUL, AWFUL English grammar and word usage. Just awful. Look for older titles by English or American authors on Audible. If you're actually trying to learn, you probably want a slower speed. Once you get a feel...

    Word wrap problem?

Are you doing this from a mobile device or a computer? I've noticed my new Android phone has this problem with the output from a lot of sites, but my old one did not; it might just be a display issue too, and not a transfer issue.

A meshiver of relationship in a platonic romance between asexual species

If they are truly identical copies, then the relationship remains the same, and Grey probably gets very confused for a while. If they're different from each other then the "new" one is a daughter, while the old one is a "partner" (they would not be husband and wife in that scenario unless there...

Check out this novel if it's good and anything that lacks in this novel please give me a feedback

Oh, I'm sure they've opened some awful, banal books - ones written in "urban speak" or ones that only got published due to a publisher seeing a popular theme or concept in them and not looking at the writing, or the Twilight novels....

Resolved MC transmigrates into a manga(?) world and evolves his companion fish into a dragon

Sounds almost like a Pokemon fan-fic of some sort. Especially with the Magicarp that can evolve into a dragon-thing.

    Witchblade Copyrighted?

As long as you don't use the same description or give your character the same name as Sarah Pezzini or any of the other Witchblade hosts (hilariously, the male bearers get the same ultra-revealing outfit the female ones almost wear), or describe the weapon itself, you should be good... BUT...

Which comes first, the theme or the story?

Usually my stories are all born out of a challenge. Sometimes I challenge myself (Can I write a romance? Can I write a Western with a system? Can a superhero also be a noir-esque detective?), sometimes someone else issues the challenge (Don't recall the exact challenge - it was roughly 15...

Abandoned stories getting a place, a Graveyard perhaps?

Not sure how the storage situation works - this might require a second site to make feasible. If not, I support this idea completely.

Thoughts on someone leaving harsh reviews on your novel?

Twenty years ago, or more, this would have been a serious concern, but they did get slammed for a few fraudulent cases and would likely look beyond the cover image (though they MIGHT sue the artist, and with enough basis that you might have to change it), unlike the reviewer.
