  • Ah, you beat me to that feedback thread.
Writing complex fiction teaches us how to complete a work as an author. Narrating fiction that resonates with readers teaches us a lifelong lesson as a storyteller.
It is a bot. One with the same name is stalking scribble for a while now.

It's a light greeting and a test. If she answers... maybe she's a human. If not maybe she's a bot or just a quiet (extreme) person.
I reread my old fiction collection and discovered... I couldn't enjoy it anymore. It wasn't because the content was bad, but because the narrative was flat, breaking my immersion. This is the curse of knowledge.

As your tastes become better, you can no longer enjoy the dishes you once enjoyed, just as a cat won't look at raw fish after tasting cat snack.
People will organically appreciate what we stand for instead of being busy showing off who we are.

Give honest feedback to anyone who needs it... instead of showing your professional title for 1 page.
I opened the insight and found a sudden surge in views from Japan, even displacing the US. Are Japanese readers starting to flood SH?
If you want your work to become popular quickly, follow current trends.

If you want your work to be well known, build a brand with a unique characteristic.

Tolkien needed almost two decades to be well known after the release of the first work... and it took almost a century to dominate the fantasy world.
A good narrative is not a narrative that makes the reader remember all the characters in one reading, but rather makes the reader understand who the MC is, who the antagonist is, who the supporting characters are, what they are doing because of the related conflicts in their world.
Okay, I'll write tomorrow. I'm going to bed now.
No, I'm not in the mood... :blob_thor: maybe I'll write tomorrow.
Not this time, I'm going on vacation. :blob_melt:
    ...
Let's see how far my narrative, "The..."
    :oops::rolleyes::blob_hide:
In limited third POV, the narrator follows the MC and shows what the MC is experiencing 'subjectively'. The reader can feel the MC's breath without becoming the MC.

In omniscient third POV, the narrator acts as a camera that shows the scene 'objectively' like a film director who directs what the audience can see from a scene? The reader feels like a cinematic film audience.

Limited is my favorite. Also, I like using it to zoom into first person with italics for thoughts.

I use three types of POV in a series: first POV, limited third POV, and omniscient third POV. Each chapter can have a different POV. POV can change depending on the narrative's needs.

I usually write in first-person POV because it’s easier, and I feel like readers connect more with the main character that way.
I will answer your thing later, Eldorito. I am busy, at the moment.
In a traditional novel, a reader starts to read from page 1. In a web novel, a reader can start from any chapter. The implication?

A author can't always rely on the context of previous chapters. Every chapter should be able to stand alone or be thematically connected in a series if it's intended to be reader-friendly, especially for causal readers.
Without a unique identity... name is just an empty label. Can you distinguish a character just by their name if there are five similar names in a chapter?

Unique character identity leaves an impression on the reader's perception.

The identity of a cunning pirate with a toothless who laughs "zehaha..." is easier to visualize and remember than the mere name Marshall D. Teach.
It feels weird almost every time I drink coffee...:coffee: instead of being awake, I feel sleepy.

In my opinion, it’s Reynard. He is a kind-hearted guy, which I really respect. After learning about the incident in the town, he immediately thought of the townspeople.

He is indeed an idealistic knight... his background story might make you cry if you read his chapter.
Accepting feedback like a newbie who continues to learn to improve narratives... and write narratives as well as possible like an experienced author who uses all their narrative skill to narrate fiction that is worth reading.
There are two types of fiction: (1) fiction that tells what happens to the characters and (2) fiction that makes the reader feel with the characters.

The first type of fiction simply asks what happens next? (linear storytelling).

The second type of fiction asks how does the scene captivate the reader? (immersive storytelling)
Someone adopt in a cat that was accustomed to eating leftover fish. She cared for the cat well and gave it new nutrition, "cat snacks".

For a whole week, the cat ate the cat snacks.

One day, the snacks ran out, she was forced to give the cat the fish. The cat sniffed the fish for a moment, then...(n):blob_shock::blob_thor:

My fiction was entering the trending niche fiction (not a general trend). Finally...:blob_teary:
