You know those creatures that have invaded the human world?! Not aliens, not predators, but ants.

After writing an epic battle (e.g., kaiju vs. kaiju), you're satisfied, then stop for a few days because your creative energy is depleted.

And you're burdened with the expectation of writing even more epic scenes for the next battle, especially when the stakes are higher.

Good (not best) fiction is fiction that touches the reader's emotions. Often what readers care about is not the fiction's deep thematics, original premises, complex characters, living world, or suspenseful plots, but rather the most basic thing: touching the reader's emotions.

Well, finishing a battle chapter with 2K words might not be bad especially after a few days of not writing.

Almost 90 chapters have been written... and maybe up to 100 chapters just for vol. 2.

Just a little bit more... I hope to finish this arc soon. Alice chan is waiting for me in vol. 3.
