    It is no coincidence that Envy started with return by death. Envy copied pride is my guess, and Pride is considered the worst sin of all. What is more prideful than a rejection of death?

    Well, if external validation, numbers, popularity, and engagement are everything in fiction, then that wouldn't be surprising. It makes sense!

    I was casually crawling the web novel series with some chatbots... and found that my fiction wasn't valuable enough to be picked up by crawler sites.

    But some of the popular fiction on SH has been picked up by at least three crawler sites with large memberships.

    Thoughts of native isekai? Like the isekai-ed MC is the reincarnation of someone from that world or was born there and somehow transported to our world and come back home?

    Native isekai? What a funny and seemingly contradictory term. If the MC is simply reborn in their original world, it's not isekai. It's a reincarnated MC.

    My opinion? Reincarnated MCs are usually still obsessed with the conflict of her/his past. Authors often depict how they pursue their old lives (which are usually considered failures) through redemption, either by becoming heroes again and saving old acquaintances. And that's the drama's value.

    It's better... at least there's a more humane exploration of psychological and socio-historical conflict than modern isekai MCs who tend towards escapism.

    Well, I ate mother's fried chicken.

    Honestly, when I was a kid, I tended to be picky eaters (avoiding vegetables, lol).

    But as an adult, anything Mommy served tasted delicious.

    New Year's fireworks symbolize new hope and togetherness. However, due to various circumstances throughout the year, fireworks are not lit.

    Some places ban them as a show of solidarity with tragedies such as disasters or wars. Others prohibit them due to tradition. Still others prohibit them due to noise pollution.

    And for me... being together with family is enough for the ending of this year.

    You might dream your whole life of being a certain character, but that only happens for one night. The difference between dream time and real time is relative.

    I had a dream in which I lived my whole life as a female angel whose wings were attached on the front instead of the back, and time passed just as it would when i'm awake. I didn't suspect it was a dream until I woke up again the next day.

    Well, I won't discuss the concept of the relativity of time based on Einstein's theory.

    The emphasis on relative time in dreams is more about the dreamer's subjectivity, where their dream 'experience' can feel like a lifetime ago.

    However, the brain may simply be providing meaningful and memorable information during the dream. So, time feels relative, and it can vary depending on the dreamer.
