    Not the Billie Eilish song.

This might seem like your typical obscure emo song, but this one has strings!

What other real emo has strings? None. That's really all I have to say about it.

Also, the singer sounds a lot like Davey von Bohlen from The Promise Ring, who I've recommended before. Emo singers really like to converge on each other.
Is Lies of P Overture any good? :blob_hmm:

Might play it one of these days, but still weighing whether or not it's worth the money and re-learning how to parry

I haven't played it but people are comparing it to sekiro which is a stretch probably. Watched some videos and the graphic and story wise it's good.??

It does look pretty good :blob_hmm:

I think it's been on a slow decline since forever but we're starting to see things come to a head :blob_hmm: :blob_cringe:

Personally can't speak on this, as the first time I've been there was as a mindless baby in the early 2000s (I was actually there during the 2002 bombings :sweating_profusely:)

But I've seen folk nostalgic for even 70s-80s Bali.
Getting caught having an affair is exactly the karmic consequence deserved for listening to Coldplay
I wonder if they had their own equivalent of "the west has fallen" chuds in the 15th century when Constantinople fell :blob_hmm:

I think this song is about feeling lost without a certain somebody in your life, but told through the perspective of someone who has trouble cooking without following a video recipe.
When I was a kid, I always wanted to work in orangutan conservation because I spent all day watching Animal Planet

Now I see a job listing for an orangutan sanctuary in my area

Is fate calling me? Is this my The Alchemist moment?

Likely relevant to absolutely no one, but this is strangely one of Watchmojo's better music lists.

Putting Sunny Day Real Estate at #1 while having MCR as the thumbnail is a power move. The list in general is pretty good for the uninitiated to get a taste of the emo genre, even if the most adamant purists would scoff at a lot of the emo pop inclusions.

I especially appreciate the list giving The Get Up Kids their flowers. They really changed emo, for better or for worse :blob_hmm:

It's also interesting that their honorable mentions actually feature bands that casual fans wouldn't be familiar with, but are legends in the scene. It's like whoever wrote the list wanted to insert some real shit, but knew that viewers wouldn't want their favorite band to be excluded over some guys they never heard of.

There really was just an abundance of inoffensive indie pop rock in the late 2000s.

I personally first heard this song in a Kotoura-san Abridged Series video, which might be the most late 2000s thing ever even though the show's from the 2010s.

Anyway, this track just randomly pops in my head sometimes.

    ...which one do I watch?

    Pure math rock excellence.

One of the first math rock riffs I learned along with Never Meant and Always Focused. Definitely recommend learning it for anyone else who wants to stay a virgin for life.

This song's just so perfect (specifically the Audiotree Live version). Killer riff and actually singable melodies. Only downside is they're Br*tish.
