Trying to buy a house-house further north is a pain in the arse. Everything is either from the 1400s and in complete disrepair, or looks haunted by the exorcist demon :blobrofl:. and the nice ones are expensive for only a half meter square. lol :blob_pout: house hunting is aggravating.
I did find one, but it's on the isle, and no way I'm takin a ferry ervday to get mainlend.

Airbnbs suck. there's an entire neighbourhood I visited with no one living there. all airbnb signs in erv'window... horrible.

Narrating power systems and lore without feeling like an info dump is one of the most difficult challenges in writing fantasy fiction.

Can we narrate how power systems work?
Can we narrate lore as the foundation of the story?
No narrator's voice. No expository dialogue.

Only subtext interspersed in the organic interactions between characters.
