Well, I was so engrossed in reading and writing feedback for a new author that I lost track of time.

Remembering the few sol anime I watched back then and curious about their actual ending out of curiosity and nostalgia was a clean left hook in the barf organ.

The cousin love was implied strongly in one, but I had hoped it wasn’t or they turn out not blood related. The other one was turning wholesome to grooming.

@Anonjohn20 I watched your recommendations already. It was just a random “what is actually the ending of…” kind of moment and I was shocked at how bad the ending of the manga was compared to how tame the anime was.

It's either gooning or pointless level up with RPG stats and skill level doggigory.

Where is the plot? What is the point? Give me something to invest in the world godammit.

Because when you write an original world with a detailed plot its harder work on all fronts and nobody cares if there is too little smut.

@Anonjohn20 Having a certain genre or trope is not an excuse for poor world building. And even a worse excuse for having bland characters.

I never said it was, but you can't deny that the convenient "I'm stuck in a virtual world that runs on tabletop RPG mechanics" is easier for lazy authors than building a world from scratch and making it feel real through expertly written exposition.

I'll level with you, I don't understand the entire shitshow, most likely due to skimming.

But the entire "survival of fittest" becomes so lame and even to the point of no logic.
