Which family drama is more interesting?

(1) Title: A White Ribbon on My Birthday: I Love You So Much, My Big Sister

Premise: A white-haired woman gives a white ribbon to her little sister on her 7th birthday. She hugs her big sister cheerfully.

Her big sister is the gentlest woman in the world. She nodded every time her older sister whispered sweet words. The world seemed so beautiful. She wanted to continue living happily with her beloved older sister.

But, after she fell into a deep sleep, her big sister wore a dark robe and went to the underworld. She killed every threat that came close and didn't hesitate to get her hands dirty with blood as long as her little sister could keep smiling.

Blood merchants, criminal gangs, and other assassins trembled at the mere sound of her name, Noire the White Assassin.

Genres: Action, comedy, drama, fantasy, SoL.

(2) Title: A Lullaby of My Mother to Me under the Moonlight

Premise: A blonde mother goes on the run with her black-haired daughter in the land of apartheid. They ran away from the racial police. Their lives are constantly shadowed by threats.

However, her little daughter didn't complain, she always smiled as long as she was with her mother. Every night, her mother sang a lullaby to her until she fell asleep soundly.

The silence was broken by the sound of sobs; her mother apologized to her because she had killed her biological parents of her daughter. Merry was the Red Knife, a former elite racial police.

Genres: Action, drama, historical, psychological, tragedy.

Did you think this through? If she's wearing a dark robe, then why is she known as the "White Assassin"?

People are generally not identified by the color of their hair (imagine all the titles starting with "the brown..."). It is much more common to be given a name by the disguise one chooses. You do you though

What about Akagami no Shank? Akami = red hair.

Sorry, but I don't think either of them sound interesting. If you twisted my arm, I'd say the first. Do with that as you will.

the 1st one, only because there isn't really anything in the 2nd story.

The premise has a tone that doesn't seem to fit with Comedy & Slice of Life at all. I can still imagine it though. But I'm curious about how you'll connect the family theme with the underworld action. The first thing that came to my mind was 'it's just that way, money for living and all that' because it was the simplest. But I wonder if the little sister is the source of the underworld conflict? I can imagine it going like Beelzebub! or Sakamoto Days. Or maybe it's the setting that's just fucked up, like Gotham City. These aren't suggestions btw, I'm just trying to have a clearer picture on this story.

This one though, doesn't have enough sauce for me to picture. Is it in a warring periode or superficially peaceful dystopian society? What about the action? Is it general conflicts in the setting (city crimes, food, etc) or actual resistance against the apartheid? We also don't know Merry's character. She can be either still wanting to upheld the society's code or a penitent. Maybe my questions are way too far from what's in your mind? Who knows. It can be anything, so you can't really judge it.
