Grind logs, it's in the name.

This is why I don't read much Litrpg if they are just grind logs and badass moments. I like otome isekai, I need a bucket of ~☆Drama☆~ to be able to enjoy a story!

One of my pet peeves were Male-to-Female Genderbend story.

As a Reader with acute self-insert relatable sydnrome, imagining myself turning into female is horrible.

The Menstruation cyle, it scares me. It happens every month and it can't be stopped or prevented.

I've been taking care of My mom through menstruation and her expressions didn't seem well. It doesn't affect her demeanor, but she get cold and sick rather easily during menstruation.

Not to mention pregnancy, which is both females greatest dream and worst nightmare.

Not to mention the lack of condom or contraception in isekai world's.

Not to mention potential societial freedom disadvantage and inequality compared to male.

Not to mention limited physical future strength potential, unless there's magic or something.

Italicizing words. Full stop. Unless it is a boat or plane or whatever name, I don't think you should italicize your words. It annoys me when authors do.
But you're referring to names of things. Sounds like you meant capitalizing words. Italicizing words tends to be for emphasis when bold is no good or when addressing character thoughts. Capitalizing is used sometimes for names of spells.

Capitalizing: I took a Gate to get to Alexandria.
Italicizing: But then I thought to myself, What if she's right? What if I am really a catfish lover?

No, I mean italicizing. Italics. Bold. Overkill. Overkill². I just dont like italics very much, excepting special cases for names.

When slavery is seen as a good thing in the novel, it absolutely kills any novel for me. Which is half the reason I rarely read Japanese isekai’s. Another is when female characters are 2d and seen less as people and more as trophies to be won. Which is the other half of why I rarely read Japanese isekai’s, as well as why I rarely finish most shonen or Korean novels.

I'm mostly burnt out on Japanese isekai webnovels for the same slavery and ubdefined female characters reason. I think the writers have trained on a corpus of thin, JRPG-based settings with crappy 2D female characters. Also bone-deep cultural sexism. :blob_blank:

In other peeved, we need a Stub and an automated Hiatus tag!.:blob_catflip:

In my opinion, even the classics had this problem of having 2D cardboard female characters. Instead of complaining of bad writing, the fans just call the characters useless (Sakura)

Just recently we're seeing female characters that aren't just female characters in Shounen (Boruto, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen)

I don't know where I'm going with this...

I think trans people (the main audience) wouldn't mind those things. Minus the freedom thing, it's the female experience, right? They would like to have the full package.
