Waffle House. Yes the meme is that Waffle House is thunderdome, but they also sell really good breakfast at literally any time including 15 minutes after someone drove a truck through the front door. That is not an exaggeration.

Los Arcos Mexican place in Cleveland.
You just simply can't find better authentic Mexican food in the city.
They have a special "Chipolte" style meal where you build a bowl; my favorite is white rice, black beans, salsa, sour cream, chicken, steamed veggies, and hot sauce.
i also have to go with the Cheesecake Factory. There's a shrimp jambalaya dish that is just too stunning for words. (hey, I'm a sea otter; i love shrimp) ?

Depends on whether one wants traditional cuisine, or just to eat well.
In the former, I'd recommend for Germany, to find a restaurant that serves "Haxe" (pork knuckle; though, you likely won't find it under that term).

(it should look like this)
However, I should warn that one could use to have a good stomach for that, as there's a lot of fat on the meat, and it's quite hearty.
Some (like me) might get a little bit dizzy from too much of this fat once.
The alternative would be "Eisbein" which is basically the same, just in slobbery and not crunchy. Never understood why that would be preferred.

Took my recommendation, suing you for copyright infringement.
I swear to God, if Cheesecake Factory only made that shrimp jambalaya and nothing else, they'd still have standing room only.
*checks her schedule for Monday*
Going to have to go there this week. Can't fight it.

God, I miss Cheesecake factory, the closest one to my home is over an hour away.

Anyway, I'd recommend going to a fair or a carnival to try some stuff out. Funnel cakes, a bucket of vinegar fries, and plenty more. I'm sure you can find these foods elsewhere, but it's more for the novelty of it than because it's the best food around. Of course, American barbecue is also a good choice, definitely a staple for American cuisine.

Peking duck! Delicious and not too exotic for foreigners. Or maybe some pork bao! Anything is better than your usual Panda Express choices (orange chicken, General Tao’s chicken, etc…)

Lobster.

Maybe a few different varieties of apples...
I LOVE LOBSTER. We make ours with scallion and garlic, and it SLAPS SO HARD.

My favorite Mexican food so far is birria tacos. Very basic I know haha. Haven’t been to Cheesecake Factory in forever. But I like cheesecake, so maybe I’ll visit again and try the shrimp jambalaya. ?

Eat nasi Padang. If you haven't had anything like it, it will actually change your life. It'll be like that one ex you can't forget.

It's basically rice with a fuckton of intensely flavorful (probably not that healthy) side options. Fried chicken, curry chicken, rendang, jackfruit, cassava leaves, anything you could possibly think of.

Like I'm not even joking. If you're one of those Europeans with pitifully unseasoned food, this shit will give you a full-body orgasm.

Every country has exotic culinary riches as a world cultural heritage.
From America, I would recommend getting chicken tenders covered in sausage or southern gravy. You might have to salt the gravy. Brown gravy is good with chicken tenders too, but not to the same degree.
