Fun fact! The three main characters of my current webnovel are all "half" something, in terms of culture. They each have mixed heritages of sorts.

Lucia is Afroitaliani
Sieglinde is Deutschamerikaner
and Ichigo is Nikkei Kanadajin

Interesting facts about FMC in my novel, "Blood Rose Princess Just Wants to Live in Peace With Her Little Daughter":

First, her name is Marry El Rose — her name is very romantic. Even 'marry' is the verb for marry, but she is not married or more precisely aromantic. So her name implies a paradox.

Second, Marry El Rose is a virgin mother — she conceived her daughter without a romantic relationship with a man. You can guess who the archetype that I take as a reference.

Third, her last name 'El Rose' is not a sweetener, her name does imply her family origin as well as supernatural powers related to roses (blood).

Fourth, Marry El Rose is a gentle mother to her little daughter but cold to the world and cruel to her enemies, especially tyrants.

Fifth, Marry El Rose was born into a tyrant family (El Rose royal family). But she is a rebellious princess who opposes her family's tyranny.

Sixth, before becoming a mother, Marry was known as the blood executioner. She is the living ideology of the "law of blood", blood for blood. She is the one who upholds justice for the victims of injustice who are silenced by corrupt laws by executing systemic criminals (tyrants) without mercy. Her motto of justice:

"When the law died, then I will become the law itself. Blood for blood."

Seventh, Marry El Rose's character is perhaps more like a female version of Yagami Light (Death Note) who did not fall into a narcissistic god + Akame (ga Kill) who redeemed herself through the love of family for her little daughter.

Eighth, Marry El Rose is an FMC who was forgotten by the world (but FMC remembers the sins of the world) because the world chose to 'forget' after she saved the world from tyranny. It is actually a dark allegory of history in the real world where the most deserving heroes are often forgotten by world history.

You know the classical definition of "Mary" is "Sorrow," right?

Most of the interesting facts about my characters eventually become plot points...
But...
While he was in the army, Jack Diamond collected a lot of medals, ribbons and pins - not "was awarded" - "collected." From bodies, from squadmates who refused them, or from the trash when others were stripped of them. It's not an impressive collection but it is HIS... now.

David West is an expert wargamer, which does come into play a few times, but his preferred army is a sci-fi version of the undead (essentially Warhammer 40k Necrons with the serial numbers filed off), and his second choice is the undead in fantasy games - which makes much of what happens ironic.

All of Kelly Pierce's fun facts come out, most of them fairly quickly, I think so nothing new there.

Same for Dane Coleman.

Nathan Daniels was an historical figure in his original setting (a side project from "The Clobberin' Times," an Amateur Press Alliance fanzine for the Champions role playing game, called "The Omniverse"), having died during an alien invasion that happened about ten years before the stories started, and ended the First Heroic Age).

Henry's middle name is Chaplin in honor of Charlie Chaplin.

Henry swears with food because any brainless goomba can use bad language, but it takes someone with an IQ higher than a single digit to express their emotions with food.

Ethan draws a comic called Backfire: the World's Worst Superhero.

Aesop is a leprechaun, and leprechauns in the Henriverse grow normally until puberty stops, at which point they start shrinking until they're only a few inches tall. Aesop was never very tall to begin with, so he's secretly terrified that he's going to end up as small as a mouse someday.

If Henry couldn't be the Hunter, she would want to be a birthday clown because kids are so much easier to make laugh than adults. Speaking of...

Klaons view human clown makeup as being similar to blackface, but they try not to hold it against them since they don't know klaons exist. And yes, that would make Henry's backup career choice every bit as awkward as you would think.

My protagonist is a genius who can do anything the plot requires her to, shit she's even the youngest Doctor of Physics in her previous life, but her penmanship looks like dribbled shit.

Shari has the fascinating ability to jinx herself to a degree that it borders propability manipulation. Also, she blames the world (aka me) like a sentient entity to screw things up for her.

Well, Akoi is from Stuttgart, Germany. She's a Maneater's Jamaican, and won a cultural award for her music talents.

No goddamn way, mine is left handed with good memory too, his memory isn't exceptionally good though, just good enough to impress the average man.
Xavier is a STEM guy through and thorough, even in an hostile alien world, which has a medieval setting.

His muttering about different observations of strange objects and the behavior of people creeps out those around him, most of the time.

They tend to avoid him, lest he starts pestering them about what they think about the magnetic property of colorful rock he which he finds fascinating for no reason.

I'll give one for each story.
Immaculate:
Antares is left handed, Alunya was right handed, but since he learned to do so many things by watching how his brother did it he became ambidextrous from imitation.

Birthright:
Seren Wildflower's middle name is a direct result of me finding the song "Wildflower" to fit her relationship with her brother very well.

A Zealots Redemption:
Glyndwr Llewelydd is patagonian welsh, from the welsh colony in Argentina. He's got a bit of mapuche DNA, too.

Empire of Mercy:
Most of the OCs in the story are just based on protagonists of other stories. Mooncrescent and Starblaze's personalities are based on Alunya and Antares respectively from Immaculate, Glyndwr the Gryphon is based on Len Auphydas from Restless Sleeper, and Captain Silent Serpent is based on Celvaeriu, a character I've had floating around for a long time whose never gotten an actual story.

Princess Spike:
I wrote the entire thing as practice to stay in character with ponies. I chose an intentionally trashy premise to help get over the sense of perfectionism and keep the expectations low. Then accidentally made it one of my better stories...

Rainbow Dash Always Dresses In Style:
Shares a universe with Princess Spike! Specifically, the whole story takes the chunk of time right before Starlight Glimmer checks on Dashie and Scootaloo. This is alluded to in the story where Dashie is acting kinda embarassed when Starlight show up.

Restless Sleeper:
The entire plot was written because at the time I started it I felt I wasn't emotionally ready to wrrite siblings yet because of my headspace at the time, so I separated the siblings out from eachother so I could stall that part until I was ready.

Nikolai - His favourite colour is green. He has a ridiculous number of green shirts and sweaters, and if green is an option for an item (phone cover, luggage, winter coat, etc.) he will almost always choose the green option.

Beth-Anne - She named her cat after Elvis Stojko, not after Elvis Presley as mostly everyone assumes.

Caleric - Loves admiring himself in the mirror. The reason behind this is: Caleric as a person is really good at reading people, he has the gifted eyes but he could never truly understand himself. So he likes to admire himself in the mirror from time to time, it's his way of believing that it'll help him understand himself.

Ooh. Okay, so many so I'll just pick a few of my recent time sinks.

Ara actually likes sweet rolls or anything sweet, really. No one really knows this as they just see her being this 7 foot wall of muscle and unknowable stuff who swings around a massive hammer and enters blood rages. She also secretly knows how to dance but she will never tell that to anyone else. Ever.

Amaia used to be a vegetarian before the first time through the apocalypse. She just ended up eating whatever she could get after two trips through it and she ends up craving meat on the third trip through for specific reasons...

Rowan immediately started hero-worshiping Ava when she saved his life. He would have cried when she gave him pants but his tear ducts hadn't healed at that point. He's also unaware that Ava thinks of him as genderless despite him revealing he's a guy.

Elias is normally a very stoic and well read Immortal. He's been alive for more than recorded human history. It's just things with Rachel make his heart go weeegh. Still more methodical than others, just easily distracted by his waifu.

Never been exactly brought up in the book, my main character V was born in Japan and lived there for the first three to five years of his life, then lived in America until he was 18, almost 19, when he went back to Japan till he was 32, when he got isekai.
