Do anyone got mad at themselves when they stop the ongoing series to do another novel series?

I just have that feeling and got mad at myself for stopping my old novel. It is like a sacrifice ritual where we must lose one thing to gain one thing. That's why I am making schedule for both series which means there will be the very busy days for me. Do anyone have that same feeling?

Understand your own capacity. Finish what you're working on before starting another work. Sometimes, writers get too enthusiastic at the start, writing many series, only to stop midway due to burnout.

Personally, I have five series. However, only one is finished (vol 2). Another series is currently in progress (ongoing), and three others are on indefinite hiatus.

Now, I just want to focus on finishing what I'm writing while editing them. I hope to finish these five works gradually and see where my writing journey takes me.

I have forbidden myself from starting another project till I finish the current one. I've got a lesbian monsters vs aliens fanfic and another schoollife drama this time with superheros in the pipeline, and I'm not allowed write so much as a summary until my current story is tied off in a neat bow. Because I finish what I start.

(Also an idea to play with the forcefem/forcemasc trope while staying inside the same gender identity. There aren't enough forcebutch/butchification stories tbh)
