You don't and can't really fix people. If you've ever genuinely had that thought, that's narcissism on your end. Maybe you'd need fixing then.
I tried to fix a mentally ill crackhead woman but I failed but it was one of my most joyful moments in life having power over someone like thatA broad, open-ended hypothetical question.
At what point is a significant other too far off the deep end that they can't be 'fixed'?
What can or can't be fixed?
What if your significant other is sad or depressed or going through other issues?
What if they are going through substance abuse / addiction?
What if there is nobody else who would bother to try 'fixing' them?
