I feel like only the MC having access to resurrection could work-- if it was what the story was based around. But introducing it via the literal deus ex machina of an omnipotent entity descending to take care of things sounds pretty unsatisfying.

I think if the character getting revived is a clear possibility to the other characters, then it should be acknowledged as soon as possible-- people won't have the same intense grief, maybe, but they'll have anxiety type grief if it's not certain, like when someone was in a potentially deadly...

I think if you start with the premise "the MC always wins", it's more interesting to do mildly complicated stuff to get there than have them just Punch Harder every time.

Out of character? No. But if you set up the expectation for your character to be a perfect person who doesn't make mistakes, people will probably be disappointed. Like a lot of things, it's easiest for readers to accept it if it appears early.

It might not be automatically popular, but that doesn't mean it won't work narratively-- just whoever writes it might have a harder time finding their audience. Gaining power can be pretty horrifying if you write it right.

Some people get motivated by rereading what they've already written. Sometimes I get motivated by thinking up immediate plot things I want to see happen, or jokes of varying quality that I feel compelled to make my characters tell. YMMV.

Try discovery writing, where you just start with one of your ideas without plans and sees where it takes you? You might need more planning, but discovery writing might teach you what you need to plan on too-- either way, it's better to write than not write if you wanna get good at writing...
