    Avarege readers age of scribble?

In my 30s here, though I assume by default that I'm above average age in every internet space.

    Short Feedback Thread

Sure, I'll take some free attention feedback on the thing I'm writing.

Your last played Video Game character has to kill you in 24hrs

... well I suppose that's gonna depend on how any of these cookie RPG stats translate to real life, but Wildberry's probably gonna pummel the absolute crap out of me. Assuming I don't have any milk to dunk them all in, anyway. If I do, they're doomed to a moist and delicious fate.

Incentivize the creation of scribblehub accounts

Also, to write comments and reviews. Though the aforementioned group won't care much about those either...

    Would you?

My first story was a self-insert Ocarina of Time crackfic. ... Sure, I'd remake that. Hell, I almost did remake that. Only stopped by realizing I didn't remember how OoT actually goes.

    Turn off auto-add line breaks.

I write my stories in Google Docs, which already works like this. Copying and pasting from there into Scribble Hub fills my draft with a bunch of unintended empty paragraphs I now have to manually delete. I would appreciate an option to operate differently. While we get the impression that you...

    Etiquette?

That should sum it up nicely.

Would you actually want to be isekai'd yourself?

All this said, if I had already been hit by Truck-kun, I'd definitely choose to get isekai'd over whatever awaits the dead under normal circumstances. (Partly but not entirely because my current expectation there is 'annihilation and oblivion'.)

Would you actually want to be isekai'd yourself?

Eh. My life's not so bad. I wouldn't give it up on a gamble over what the isekai world might be like. If I got to decide where I went and pick my "cheats", that'd be a more compelling deal. But I've got friends in this world. I'd be sad to leave them behind no matter what the new world worked...

    Steak with a Date

Girl we are already well beyond my budget from this alone. I solve this problem by not going to a restaurant this expensive in the first place.

How many chapters do you have in stock ahead of the regular schedule?

Well, we're already holding chapters back until the whole arc is done. If we ever get a consistent enough output to get any actual following on Patreon... the most obvious way to let patrons see new chapters early would be to post them when the chapter is done, instead of holding it back while...

    Relative text size in stories

So obviously, for reading settings to work as a concept, the author can't have full control over text size, but it would still be useful to designate certain parts of text as being smaller or larger than the surrounding reader-controlled-size text. So if the reader's font size setting is 15px...

Allow people with the link to read drafts if ticked as "Early Access"

The solution to that isn't to scrap the whole feature, it's for authors not to hand out early access links to people who will just spam them to the rest of the internet.

I'll leave a review on a story of your choice in exchange for some comments on mine.

I've only got one story, so my choice is easy :p I'll read through yours and drop comments where they spring to mind. Seems like it's working, though! :D

    Would you rather nya

Yes, I would rather nya. In fact, I think I'll do so now. Nya! ... Oh, the question was after that? Ah. ... A million is a lot. I'm voting the three gorillas. Though I'm probably dead either way.

    Docs or Word?

Docs is in the cloud, so it gets some points there. I originally used Notepad, but then I realized I loved italics too much to keep my writing in plain .txt files.

    Seeking Immortality Despite Its Downsides

... not gonna touch that second paragraph with a thirteen-foot pole... but yeah, if you don't have any loved ones, "seeing your loved ones die all around you" is obviously not an applicable downside. And even if you do, you're researching immortality - if you succeed, you might be able to make...

    Seeking Immortality Despite Its Downsides

Fear of death, maybe a pathological fear resulting from the death of a loved one They're already friends with at least one other immortal (maybe a god?) They want to see some predicted event which will occur well past their natural lifespan They've got some project they want to finish and it...
