    Really Jealous Neighbors.

The next day the son is assembling and cleaning two shotguns. And they're better quality too!

    Really Jealous Neighbors.

The son might grow up to be a piece of shit unfortunately, and then marry and raise children who'll go down the same route. All the more so if there are complicated unresolved feelings about failing in education because he was forced to try to one-up someone else.

    Recommendations Recommend me peak manga.

Came to recommend Ajin too, one of my favourites. Otherwise, there's of course Akira, if you've seen the movie then you have to realise it's a loose adaptation and there's plenty yet to discover in the manga. A relatively unknown one is Eden: It's an Endless World!. Good sci-fi, good...

[Yandere Vs Thugdere]... pick your poison

Mist have been hard to deal with. The unpredictability, the fact you might not be in danger per se, but it's still menacing.

[Yandere Vs Thugdere]... pick your poison

The abstract idea of a yandere is arousing and exciting, but imagining my loved ones threatened by a violent yandere does not spark joy. I'm forced to pick the thugdere.

    Share the knowledge of power?

If you'll get powers soon anyway, and the situation seems relatively stable, then don't share anything yet. But as soon as you get powers, share with the group. Seems that way you avoid most of the tensions.

    What's the point?

Marx never applied his theory on skin colours, afaik. Cultural Marxism is like social Darwinism, it's an aberration that seems to solve a problem while leading to only strife and suffering.

    What's the point?

I'll offer a subtler alternative. Villain thinks he's trying to make the world a better place. Protagonist thinks the villain is only in it for money and power. The reader is left wondering who's right, if anyone truly is.

A Treatise on the Efficacy of Golemancy as opposed to Necromancy - A Dark Lord's How-To

Necromancers aren't stupid (well, at least they're not all stupid). They use corpses for availability. They hack into a biological being instead of building one from zero. They can justgo into a graveyard and find plenty of corpses just waiting to be raised. You know how Boston Dynamics is one...

    Should I draw every day?

I think that's the correct strategy. Drawing everyday with no expectation on the quality of the drawing, just to keep the habit. But first and foremost: no pressure if it's not your job.

    Should I draw every day?

I've failed to draw everyday and now it's like I'm stuck and I can't begin to draw at all. Don't make the same mistake. Imo, even if you draw something completely random as a quick sketch, it's better than nothing. If everyday is too much then set an easier schedule but regularity is king.

Writing Prompt Becoming Great Old One in a Human ruled Universe

If humans are threatening the Universe, then humans shall be used as the remedy. An insidious voice inside their heads, moving unseen, planning unknown, acting undetected. This being would be an idea, taking root inside people's mind to use humanity's own forced against it.

How to handle the MC meeting his future-self

I've read a sci-fi story where digitised consciousness plays a big role. The main character turned into a revolutionary freedom fighter against corrupt elites. So they used a copy of his consciousness from the past when he was still a good soldier following orders. And they told that copy to...

[POLL] Which type of villain is more up to your alley?

On this note, it's a but sad that so many complex villains have a good point but go about it wrong. I mean, my favourite villain of all times follows this pattern, but often the writers have the villain make valid point and yet be stupid evil just so he gets to be the villain. Like, suddenly...

I suggest you read this if you want an example of a dream sequence done right. Twelve Miles Below, Chapter 1 - Only A Nightmare

[POLL] Which type of villain is more up to your alley?

Palpatine: absolute evil. Vader: father who succumbed to the Dark Side. Dooku: misguided idealist. It's your pattern but reversed, @ACertainPassingUser.

My thoughts on Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood as someone who recently finished watching the anime

I couldn't stand the OST, specifically when the choirs started. It was always the same track, and honestly it was a pretty bad one. At first i didn't notice anything wrong but halfway through the series it was becoming really annoying.
