    Superhero stories?

I've been reading Broker here on SH, it seems to be pretty popular. If your story is engaging people will enjoy it.

    I-Phone VS Samsung

I used to have an iPhone but I couldn't even download music on my phone without jumping through hoops. I couldn't use extensions like an ad blocker on the Firefox app. I couldn't install any app I wanted, like Newpipe to have YouTube without ads. Apple doesn't respect you, screw them. I'll never...

    Hidden Meanings

It's like those Game Theory YouTube videos. Is the theory actually onto something? Probably not. Is it fun anyway? Hell yeah! There are works were there's undeniably a deeper meaning though. Sometime it's not interesting and the authors did an asspull (Matrix), sometime it's actually great and...

    Perfect Prose Is Dead

If something is important to you, then it can be shared with others. Passion shines.

    Female Characters

Ripley from Alien is one of the most important female characters in cinema. And contrary to what some might think, she is a feminist icon, or at least an inherently female character. Not just a good character who happens to be a woman. She's someone who's intelligent, perceptive, but the rest...

AO3 is down! Er, was. It's fixed now.

Nah, I can still access it. They installed a Cloudflare protection system.

    Parahuman

Power: you can glide on any surface, defying gravity and bouncing off obstacles instead of just crashing into them. Like some sort of mad pinball.

I will say this about things and recent events

What if you like a type of story, but the overwhelming majority do it bad and leave a cringe taste in your mouth when you read them. So you decide, "Imma do it better!" Can you build a good story with that attitude?

    Worm Fanfics

Unfortunately, I've got some very bad news for you, sir... For most of them you'll have to either dislike them or develop a certain tolerance to fanon.

    Worm Fanfics

I'm glad to help! I've also got a slightly crazy story to recommend: Taylor, Time Tinker!

When I consume my enemies, is it really cannibalism?

A dwarf eating an elf would still be cannibalism to me though.

When I consume my enemies, is it really cannibalism?

If I don't respect my enemies, is it still really murder?

    Worm Fanfics

@Jemini I actually agree with your point about bugs ≠ insects, but I think most people just really don't care.

    Worm Fanfics

I'm currently reading Peasant, it's a really solid one. It's ongoing. Also, Kill Them All is an old one from ShayneT, it's kinda like popcorn food but it has its strong moments, unexpectedly. Including the final battle. I'll just say that ShayneT knows how to make you feel the horror sometimes.

    So many pointless Isekai

Sometimes the point of isekai is so that readers can identify with the character. The readers are not natives from this strange fantasy land, and neither is the protagonist. Since that's the main reason they do it as an isekai, using the old life's technical skill to change the world has...

Your opinions on the ending of My Hero Academia manga

FMA's ending seems similar, and it worked.

Gosh darn “I travel into a novel” gripes

Also, remembering things become much more important to them than it is to you and me. Literally a matter of life and death.

    Really Jealous Neighbors.

Now that I think about it. That would work for a romance arc in a story. The protagonist has a hated rival, every time the protagonist does something, the rival shows up to do it better. But in the middle of the story it becomes a romance plot when they they both realise that even if the rival...
