Should An Evil Protagonist Save The World?

Yup! Or where else would the MC rule? Save the world only to rule it.

Honest Opinions on My Story Stats After 1 Month? (38 Chapters In)

I don't want to be that guy, but here's the truth. It ain't doing good. That synopsis you wrote using gpt is pretty bad. Most readers will stay away from it.

Is it worth going back to split up larger chapters?

It all depends on how many chapters you upload. 7k-10 words 1 ch/week. 1.5-2.5k minimum 4 chs/week. The thing is some like big chapters, while others like short chapters since reading a single 7k words chapter to some might be immersion breaking. Just my personal opinion

Why is WN's community full of toxic readers?

Out of 100% trolls. In WN 60% troll comments are from other authors who gets insecure when your novel is moving up the ranks. Then 20% simply troll and spammer, they annoy just for fun. 10% are 1 star spamming bots. 10% will annoy you because or harem and no harem. Ignore them and read or write.

Writing fan fiction of another author's work.

I write Originals too. Just not on this platform. It happened on WN. Someone released a fanfic on Shadow Slave and it became more popular than the OG, so the editors snuffed it. Just removed it completely from all sites.

Writing fan fiction of another author's work.

Nope. Too much work. Then some will scream, thief, stealing others' work. Then they will spam reviews and low ratings. Then they will inform the OG author, who might or might not reply. It can get messy depending on the OG author's reply. So, not worth it. Write your own story, it's better that way.

How to self-promote and get the most out of your writing session

I checked out your book. The first few chs. And I think I know the problem. [My personal opinion] 1) Too big paragraphs. Most readers read on their phone, and it hurts the eye and lowers the immersion while reading those big paragraphs. 2) Why do you use double space before starting every...

How to self-promote and get the most out of your writing session

You opened a thread. Asked for feedback. So, in a thread, people will comment and reply to each other, even share their opinion, whether you like it or not. So, take it easy. Not every comment will be to your satisfaction and there's nothing you can do about it. I share mine, you shared yours...

How to self-promote and get the most out of your writing session

Check Ch: 4. This guy didn't even think he would mess up. The big bars and the clustered sentences, it's an old AI model. Don't remember the name but I'm pretty sure because when you copy and paste from there, the sentences break into parts after every single punctuation. Anyway, the book is a...

How to self-promote and get the most out of your writing session

    1) Choose a popular genre and stockpile enough chapters for a stable update. If you are new, you gotta update at least 5 chs/week. 2) It'll be rough at first. Have patience. Most readers add books with over 30-50 chs, since most just abandon their books halfway, readers at least would want to...

Anybody here read the Inheritors? The ending really confused me.

No idea what that is. Just commenting for commentings' sake. No idea if that made any sense. And I'm definitely not high, just bored.

Should I publish before the whole story is finished?

I write as I go, but I got a rough draft with an ending. So, get a draft of what you want, stockpile enough chs and then post. So, along the way, you will be able to improve depending on the feedback.

When to start wrapping up a story?

    1) When you run out of ideas. 2) When your views dropped way more than you expected. Every author who writes as a hobby or for money will lose motivation, and majority simply abandon their books. So, instead of abandoning, give the few readers who are still reading an ending. 3) When your MC...

What are your some of the most hated tropes?

Does LitRPG counts? Repetitive, almost non-existent story, 90% of the story is stats, grinding and inventory management. Easy to add plot armor thanks to the system and skills. You just can't argue with LitRPG authors, if you pick a pothole, they will fix it alright, how? SYSTEM and more plot...

What do you consider as harem?

As long as its multiple people MC is sleeping with, loving, having segs. It's harem. Doesn't matter if feelings are involved or playing around. However, if there is only 1 on whom MC is focused on, it's not harem. In short. Multiple people=Harem.

Do i plan my story then start or go with the flow

I used to go with the flow, but it becomes difficult because when you need an ending and you have no idea what ending you want, well, most simply abandon it. So, create an outline of the arcs you want and an ending. Then you can simply follow that while adding mini arcs in between according to...

What is the Hardest Genre to Write?

litrpg. Keeping those endless records of the stats, skills, cooldown, quests, items, inventory, exp, which monster gives how much gold, items or exp and many more. It's nightmare.
