Just tested again, and the results were positive for Covid. Can't say I'm surprised, but it does explain why this cold has been as bad as it was. Starting on an additional regimen of paxlovid tomorrow, and that should help reduce the symptoms as well.

I'm glad you did. And it's fine if you're a little biased, as long as you're acknowledging it. Also yes, that actually makes perfect sense. It's likely a result of the structure I went with, and that will also feel like the character in question is sharing a monologue directly with the reader...
