Reading other novel, Playing games.

You need a certain amount of readers to get those author titles. Rising Author needs you to have at least 500 readers in total from all of your stories. Well-Author needs you to have at least 1000 readers. And if I am not wrong, Famous Author needs you to have at least 2000 readers.

Because it is hard to complete a story without getting distracted along the way. I have dropped 3 stories now, the reason for all of them was because I don't have fun anymore with them and thinking of other ideas that might be cooler to write and then here we go, I move on from my old stories...

I literally put intermission at the end of every chapter in my main novel lol. I am using it either for adding more comedy relief or explanation for term/situation that happened on the said chapter.

Just stop whenever you feel that's good place to stop while writing a chapter. Ignore the wordcounts, just follow your feeling lol. Try outlining first before writing, it might help since I never really got this problem as I always do outline first before filled it with words. Also, My tricks...

I did write a story with the second type of mc so my choice is obvious. Beside, I am dumb myself. Trying to write smart mc when you don't have the capability of doing something smart... it wouldn't ended well, at least in my own experience.

Not so much. I would still read it based on early chapters and synopsis, and if its managed to attract my attention then I will continue to read it even if it's got rating below 2* lol.
