200 a day has worked so far for me. I started anew a little over 1.5years ago and sit at 76500words now. Moreover, I think that the text is like 75% done by now. The real problem is that around 80% of it is unedited as hell. And editing usually takes much more energy and time than basic writing...

I noticed that there are days when I look at the text and grow repulsed by the sheer incompetence and meaningless of my vain efforts. And then there are days when I look again but marvel at its glorious ingenuity instead. Taking a break, hopeful of catching a spark helps.
