I'm a seasoned athlete. So, working out is what I do. My sports are powerlifting, running and crossfit. I benched 145kg, ran 100km in 12h:50m, 5K in 20:25, done 1k burpees, 1k squats in 50min, got a 7:09 plank, etc.
You are quite lucky to receive actual feedback in the first place. God job getting ppl hooked! Striving to finish what you started is the least you could do in return. Is it stark impossible to sway the story in a way so that you'd start enjoying it once again?

Easily benched 140kg, but struggled with 145 today. I've almost reached my pre shoulder trauma form. Which is nice, as I'm hopeful of making some actual progress in the August. Shame, my running sufferes a bit due to all the gymming. But might be worth it!
