What is your goal here for writing at all? You don't have to answer, just consider your reasons. Mine? I do it for fun. Some others? They like the dopamine gained from attention, so they focus on what attracts an audience. Let's not forget those seeking to unload their own experiences and share...

Very good point and I agree that Western is too vague. And Historical alone fails to capture gunslinger justice, frontier lawlessness, cattle towns, rail barons, and lone sheriffs. Wild West, now those stories inspire to the imagination frontier settings and the classic Western tropes...

A few years ago, I did write a concept outline of an elf being reverse-isekai'd into Earth's 19th century Wild West where magic didn't exist initially, but the elf became the catalyst. So imagine Legend of Korra S3 scenario where the local folk -- one elf, not globalized... yet -- started...

Subtle. I remember some stories referencing movie scenes and the characters suggesting they'll have creative liberties with them on another. My imagination went haywire on what that implied. :blob_shock:
