That's OK - I missed the other question. The one year I completed it I was just around 61K words and there did not seem to be any difference between that and 50K.

If you plan to publish it (they have a self-publish option), then you have to be pretty strict with what you submit. If you're just challenging yourself and don't worry about it, I THINK you can get away with at least borderline, if not true, smut. I tried it three times, completed it once, myself.

There is a site tutorial that covers this - as well as at least two other threads, one here and one, I think in the Author's section below that have some tips and even recommended sites.

The first chapter always gets the most attention, always. Usually, the rest languish until either people start talking you up for some reason (good or bad), or you hit 20 chapters, or you get a lot of feedback (usually due to review swaps or catching the eye of an "elder statesman" of the site)...
