oh. ambigous reference, and from a self professed writer at that. I didn't mean eldoria, I mean that snarky lady trying to tell everyone about paragraph length in the writer's forums, lol. eldoria? First friend i made here, and she's my unofficial "oracle" of writing advice.

How to shift Perspective in First-person perspective novel?

now that I did it once, and I'm liking it more and more, I can think back and see it was done in a lot of paperbacks I read in my lifetime. Its useful I think for the breaking up of the linear story. Its a gear changfe, in shifting gears on a vehiclke. I relate a lot of writing to composing...

    Disappearing comments?

same here. I know, new author you kind of jump up and down, all excited... its just a art scammer. They'll tell you their canned line of purple praise bullshit and ask to discuss your upcoming comic book deal they want to illustrate. Don't fall for it. What's funny is that they were using the...

maybe the powers that be will leave him here for a time, for entertainment purposes, before nuking his account. But it does stagger the imagination.

New smut/erotica novel. tTTitC - the Good Stuff

wow, thanks. That's too much to ask of anyone, but I appreciate it. How was the writing quality, or subject matter. I worry about writing quality first, then if its cringe or not. If its worth the effort, I have a taskon my hands to split the sections up. When written, I didn't know web novels...

Writing How do you make your character's voice come alive in dialogue?

you know my answer, my little oracle. Character models! also subtle vocabulary and pacing would help. Giving them a verbal -ism to identify them helps too. anytimwe its not clear who's speaking next, I use a little sentence alone just before the dialog that "accidentally" names who is about to...

How to shift Perspective in First-person perspective novel?

I would only shift from 1st to 3rd with a chapter ending/beginning... and hold it through thechapter. With a scene change, it will not need explaining. once i just recently did my first one, its a noticable gear change with chapters when it happens.

First Person to Third Person to Signify Change

yoiung i always called it writing by description, which is 3rd person. when i finally tried first person and more or less switched to it... in either case, i always held POV start to finish. I recently (from being here, thanks guys) learned to switch for effect. Here, my first person novel, I...

    Help anita word: Acid buring/corroding/melting

just plain death, until major decomposition occurs, is actually a slightly sweet but garbage like smell. its called "morgue odor" and it clings. Investigators can recognize a dead body is around even if gone long after. At its faintest, it will pass for what you woulkd think was a damp musty...

    Writing Entertaining Slice of Life

I find slice of life to be much like pure romance (not sex). Bor-ing by itself as the only theme. But mixed with another genre, they become more than the sum of their parts.

Tips for writing romance and (non explicit)physical affection?

there's a lot of little stuff that comes across well in writing about love. Honestly, who hasn't been in love asnd should already know all about it. But, one thing I noticed and enjoyed having a long term relatiopnship was always after you hit a certain point, you can finish each others...

As an author, how do you feel when writing villains who commit crimes or immoral acts?

I agreee. My one recurring MC, its kind of liberating that he's good at hurting and taking human life. I think a morally good character doing otherwise despoicable things (wrong thing for the right reason), is a catharsis of some kind. I mean, who doesn't get the stray thought. Man, how cool...

Is this concept, at all, intriguing to you?

uh huh. writing purple prose is hard enough. you can speak it off the top of your head. that's *not* a skill one is born with, little one. as a character model though, I'd use your manner of speaking as a... numph, sprite, elf, fairy... something like that. maybe a goddess of tranquility or...
