The Layman's Understanding of AI's Value is so Horrifically Bad

The Naturalist or the X-Men character? Both? Think they made a mistake giving Grok a female voice - it should sound like Valentine Michael Smith...

Is Your Protagonist Recognized by Google?

All my names so far are common enough that I'd have to go way deep to find them. Interestingly, there is a Kelly Morgan Pierce who holds a similar position to Sparrow's alter ego (and shares her hair color but nothing else, from her photos) at J. P. Morgan... So Henrietta shares a name with...

The Layman's Understanding of AI's Value is so Horrifically Bad

AI does NOT like parentheses. Found THAT out from PocketFM - it ignores anything in them

    BACKFEED

But wouldn't the opposite of feedback be "pre-comments" "I haven't read your book yet, but your grammar sucks and that cover art is atrocious. Oh, you don't have a cover? Still..."

How do you rate your own writing?

Well, there is a slight possibility that Shakespeare wasn't Shakespeare (and he wrote plays not fiction. Having tried both, it's a VERY different skillset... I'm probably a 2 or 3 out of ten at that, maybe getting up to 5 for some scenes), as there is some indication he used a lot of incomplete...

The Layman's Understanding of AI's Value is so Horrifically Bad

I was pretty much anti-AI until I talked to someone who was on the team at Microsoft trying to develop it (ChatGPT beat them to market by about five months, and their entire division was scrapped with about half of them being reassigned to other workgroups and the other half - including this guy...

What are your honest thoughts on GL stories?

If its well-written and the GL bit is not the sole focus of the story, I'm cool with it. But if the romance is the story (especially if it's also a BDSM thing), I'm not USUALLY interested if it's GL, BL, hetero or Other.

    Can Tony add different reactions?

We need a "Holding Your Nose Because That Pun Stinks" reaction... Though I'd get it constantly.

MC who starts human and then becomes nonhuman?

Terragen (or maybe they spell it Terrigen?) is the compound that wakens the dormant genetic sequence in the offshoot of homosapiens modified centuries ago by the Kree to contain Inhuman powers in the Marvel Universe. It is usually a gas, but on Marvel's Agents of SHIELD it was a food additive.

What is your dominant approach in narrating your novel?

Would likely say 10-15%/50%/0-10%/whatever is left % between the four.

How do you cope with depression?

So far, "wait it out" has worked. My longest bout was about 6 days (though my wife claims I seem to suffer from it regularly).

Looking for a subverted revenge trope.

Well, I heard that "All of Us Are Dead" was a good adaptation (it added a lot of details and tweaked the order abit - but then I only found the first ten strips for free and never had the cash to get through the paywall)

How do you rate your own writing?

I'd be content with 7 out of 9 but 10 out of 10 was interesting (Sev Trek: The Comic Strip #49)

MC who starts human and then becomes nonhuman?

    Does it involve Terragen Gas?

Looking for a subverted revenge trope.

Not sure if it has a manwha or LN but just started watching "Weak Hero" on Netflix where the MC is a total cunt (he is almost as unlikable as the apparent main villain in the first episode and starts being almost likeable in "Class 1 Episode 2" - each season is a "Class" not a season). Seems...

Writing Guilt. Do you ever feel it too?

Only that the two potentially paid stories have kept me from getting back to Strange Awakening (though Kelly does get a cameo in Chapter 74 of Between Worlds) and the Jack Diamond stories (he's just too much fun to write to abandon completely though).

    What are your SH goals?

I initially posted when I was unable to find work to see if it might be viable to pursue writing as a source of income. The result was a resounding "maybe. but probably not." Then I started working again, and my time to write went down... And then this thing with PocketFM came up (posted on a...

What have your favorite reader interactions been?

Any interaction is positive. Even the nasty ones (unless they post something utterly irrelevant) because it means they read it and actually thought about it. And even if what they thought was "What an arse. My intestines could write a better story after a night of heavy drinking!" they're...

    to monetize

Did some research into Webnovel but never posted there. Apparently, you will continue to make money if you only post 1k chapters daily, but if you are consistently below 1.5k they can "fire" you at any time from your own novel and turn it over to someone who can hit that output.
