When did your story start to pick up an audience?

For Strange Awakening, it happened around chapter 11 for some odd reason. For my two stories on PocketFM, it happened when my mom made a Facebook post about them. That's pretty much it...

    Why Gender bender?

I've always kind of liked the idea of characters who either are forced to or are able to change their genders (heck, if I could turn back, I'd be willing to do it myself for long enough to experience all of it for real - though, honestly, I'd be even more interested in the way Lazarus Long did...

    Newbie here

If they want you to pay for ANYTHING just block and report. If they just want to show it to you, set up a Dropbox account for them to send it to and take a look at it, to see if they really are fans or just bots and scammers.

Who are the main antagonists in your novel?

Part of the mystery is figuring exactly which characters ARE antagonists though... In Digital Cowboy, there are a lot of factions at work, some allied, some opposed, some only aware of the MC when he gets involved in their affairs... At least one is a lot like Skynet - but so is his main...

Bugs Hold Off on Adding Book Covers

Any chance the covers were uploaded multiple times before approval, so they may be caught in a queue that only clears up when the document is "zeroed"?

Is having a Lazy MC great?

In his sci fi take on "1000 Arabian Nights and a Day" (Time Enough for Love), Robert Heinlein had Lazarus Long relate the "Story of the Man too Lazy to Fail"... One of the more memorable sections of the book, actually. So a lazy MC can work (Long himself might be a fairly lazy MC - a lot of...

    Overpowered or underpowered MC?

Varies by story, but generally just try to keep the challenges relevant. I mean, I have one of my most OP mains destined to die (granted at the hands of a god, but still).

What gadgets do you usually use to write novels?

I use the phone for drafts because it's easier to type fast on it, and always have it with me. I use (well, mostly used - as the PocketFM upload/edit app only works on Android or Apple devices unless I'm willing to jump through all sorts of emulator hurdles and risk data corruption) the laptop...

What gadgets do you usually use to write novels?

Cellphone, laptop, and very rarely paper and pen.

Why don't you complete the novel glossary in SH?

I haven't "completed" it because I haven't started to use it... Considered it, and have some files that I use as one, but they contain spoilers and cryptic notes that I would have to purge or revise before sharing.

How many times have you tried to stop writing your story and failed?

Last I saw my contracts for Digital Cowboy Dane and Between Earth and Pyrroth were "Under Review, Usually takes two business days" - it's been 10 for Between and 30 for Cowboy. Sent a query Thursday with no answer.

How many times have you tried to stop writing your story and failed?

Jack Diamond: Started twice, once in the 80s. Finished the first book, started the second, haven't gotten back to it. Strange Awakening: Started about eight years ago, picked it up again last year, finished the first book ,started the second, haven't gotten back to it. The Gray Files: Made it...

Does it ever happen to you

My guess is that the editing and proofreading are your problem, not the writing itself - writing is easy, making it something others can read without wanting to bash out someone's brains (sometimes their own, sometimes the author's, sometimes just ANY brains) is the hard, and tedious, part. The...
