Why not? (Was kind of thinking of the movie But I'm a Cheerleader!)

    From Cheerleader To Werewolf Queen!

Typically, people mauled by werewolves heal within 24 hours. "It must be the drugs," I thought. "I'm hallucinating, that's what it is." The hospital room was as stark and ugly as always. God, I hated hospitals. That stupid stuffed Huskie - yeah, it said it was a wolf but, that was the drugs...

    Character Jumping

To avoid this, write in first person... Well, even in True Blue, though, I have jumped between father and child - and had one planned arc told by a guest character, so this is not a perfect option... And the Jack Diamond books had one planned installment where he's in a coma for most of the...

How long does it take you to write 2500 words?

It varies wildly. On my more productive days, I generally pull a thousand words an hour, give or take, but some weeks I barely hit 2000 for the week. Went with 3 to split the difference and see the results.

    Question blind protagonist

Ah - I think Red Dragon was the one I couldn't remember.

As a reader, which of the following are your most tolerant and least tolerant: story content, storytelling, and language?

Not any one type, but just a lot of them. They all add in to make the experience progressively less enjoyable.

    I need social experiments

There was a made-for-TV movie called, IIRC, The Wave that we read as a play in ninth grade English class (I think - may be off by a year or two) that had a pretty disturbing experiment involving, essentially, creating a cult based around a symbol (the eponymous wave) rather than a religion. And...

    Question blind protagonist

Know I read one a few years ago but the only one I can think of offhand is the stage play "Dial M For Murder." The blind woman protagonist in that seemed fairly well handled. At least from what an almost 40 year old memory of it tells me. Much more realistic than the other blind protagonists...

When killing off an important character, friend, brother or someone important to The MC. How do you feel about it?

Unless they decide he's already been punished enough, the gods would intervene in the "jump into a volcano" thing and pull him out - his charred skeleton would then begin the years long process of mending itself, painfully. In a multiverse where magic exists, entropy may not be an absolute.

    Trending Troubles

Apparently, I made it there once. Had already fallen to the second page by the time I found out, and was off the list never, to my knowledge, to return 24 hours later... No clue how it happened, nor why I was never able to repeat.

    From Cheerleader To Werewolf Queen!

MAXIMUM or MINIMUM of (or exactly) 1000 words? There is an entire novel genre like this with that "first day" (typically called "The Alpha's Luna" and not "queen") taking dozens of chapters...

Introduction 3D Basic Modeling in My Way

Unless you understand enough of the basics to make a completely granular prompt with little room for interpretation, AI will do wonky things with positioning, direction, reflections (it has a real hard time with stairs and mirrors). This is not obsolete at all = possibly even more important...

What do YOU like to see in a story?

Words that make sense, don't have too many glaring grammar issues to drag me out of the story, a plot, and narrative consistency - if the narrator's "voice" changes, there should be a reason for it (beyond "eh, it was too short so I padded it with AI").

Writing What do you think about yandere villainess as an antagonist to the protagonist?

Sounds kind of like a more serious take on Project A-Ko - where the MC is really just a bit of a McGuffin (Seiko, often called C-Ko) that both Eiko (A-Ko) and B-Ko (who's father is a corporate raider and Elvis impersonator...) want to win the affection of (since they're school girls this is...

Adding some information on the 404 pages

Heh. It was supposed to be a parody of "My 409" by The Beach Boys, but the song gets so bland and repetitive I just kind of conked out a verse and a half in.

    looking for help from Japan

Lost contact with the people I knew who could help you. Don't remember if the one taught in Nagano or if the other one married a woman from there (been THAT long since I lost contact) but one taught ESL in Japan for four years and the other married a woman who teaches in the US and spends her...
