"Some types of cringe are benign and even liberating, while some types of cringe are worthy of ridicule. The meaning of life is to figure out which one is which-nya"
I've never been as big of a Green Day fan (I like Blink more), and I think their modern output is absolutely pitiful, but even I can rock out to some American Idiot. Jesus of Suburbia is a fun time, a satirical pop punk opera with lowkey kinda im14andthisisdeep lyrics but hey they're Green Day.
I've just been looking at Michelin Star restaurants and thinking "damn is that all they're doing?"
I know that at least with a lot of 3 star restaurants, they're doing super ballsy and artsy stuff, to the point where it's questionable if dining there could be considered a pleasurable experience, but I've seen more creative menus mom n pop shops and holes in the walls than some of these 1 star joints.
I'm watching this guy react to Bakemonogatari for the first time episode by episode, and it's almost uncanny how he manages to read into a lot of the themes and symbolism early on and also predict major plot points before they happen. Kinda freaking me out
I hope that Chainsaw Man fans all understand that Reze was NOT Russian. She was NOT a Slavic woman. Do you think the USSR would just send a WHITE WOMAN (yes slavs are white) to Japan? She'd stick out like a SORE THUMB.
If anything, she was probably KAZAKH ??????????????????
You ever see a take so unimaginably horrendous that you just come to the conclusion that some people live in a fundamentally different reality from you?
I'm a fever vet with over 2 tours in the hospital. It is precisely because of this experience that I can speak with authority that the claim that a fever could be more painful than childbirth is questionable at best and callous at worst
