Incredible performance of an incredible song. They haven't missed a step. Kashikura's still a maniac on the skins. One of the most electric drummers alive
Although I am ordained to spread midwest emo wherever I roam, I recognize that many are not immediately drawn to the singing style characteristic of the genre. Thus, I will recommend some emo tracks that have somewhat less offensive and more conventionally listenable vocals.
This is the year of older emo bands doing stuff. Algernon Cadwallader, with their song Hawk, too, are making moves in a world so different from the 2010s emo revival.
I'll be cliched and say that they really showed maturity with this particular track.
Have you ever listened to the instrumental bridge of Let Down by Radiohead and thought "Gee, I wish this was its own song"?
Well, look no further because Explosion in the Sky's twinkly brand of post-rock has you covered. Also works great for those inspirationslop insurance commercials.
I'm not as crazy about Hendrix as most guitar guys, but this song is undeniable. The guitar playing has inspired generations. Some succeed in reaching these heights, others fail, while Frusciante got a riff out of it.
This is Hendrix at his purest. If you see someone do a little chord flourish, just know where they got their sauce from.
A band I like dropped an album after like 10 years, and they came back super woke
Not complaining though. The songs still slap ,and it's kinda entertaining how blunt they get at times when their previous discography was mostly about happy summer fun times
