Radiohead are my favorite band, weird politics aside. And as much as In Rainbows is my favorite album of theirs, I do wish we got this version of Videotape as the closer instead.
Whereas the album version was skeletal, mournful, and resigned, this version of Videotape almost sounds celebratory or blissful. It's a dignified acceptance of one's death.
I should rewatch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but I don't know if I'm ready for it

First she hooks you with undeniable swagger, and then the track builds in intensity until she ah-ah makes you hers. I guarantee the chorus will be stuck in your head all day.

Piggybacking off my previous post, here is One Armed Scissor. I'm not really a post-hardcore guy despite being an emo guy, but this song fucks. It's undistilled aggression in a 4 minute container that can barely hold it. It's like stealing a cop's gun. Nothing else like it.
