One of the most legendary anime endings of all time by one of the country's most legendary alternative rock acts. What's not to love? Youthful, frenetic, bizarre, and undeniably cool. Like the show.

The only time I ever genuinely wished for an author to retcon their story was during the Railgun adaptation of the Sisters Arc. It already elevated itself way above the already good original Index version by telling it from Misaka's perspective (the perspective that actually matters), but they done blew the emotional payoff by not giving her a bigger role in the Accelerator fight.

I've seen this sentiment floating around in the anime community that modern anime fans hate (straight) romance series, like it's a shift in the tides.

As a guy who reads a lot of romance manga and is also jaded as hell towards a lot of it, I can assure that that is not the case. A lot of romance manga is just slop. So much of it is ass.
