    Actually losing it.

    I'm trying to get a paper published, and my thesis advisor sent a copy of the manuscript to a reviewer. However, I think she might've sent an older copy, as the manuscript that I got back was different from the latest version that I have.

    But somehow, some of the comments on the older manuscript have been resolved in the newest one even though it was written before I got the comments :blob_no:

    Tool are an interesting band.

    They're a little bit experimental, especially with rhythms and meter, but they're not as out there as a lot of prog bands. They're also usually a bit more restrained than other metal bands.

    No other band sounds like Tool, but at the same time, most Tool songs kinda sound the same.

    But regardless, Danny Carey kicks ass. Definitely my favorite rock/metal drummer ever. Just such a unique style. World class chops, but still so tasteful.

    The little solo he does at around 4:35 is nuts. I don't know how to describe it, it's like he's completely disregarding what the guitar is doing, but it still all comes together and goes hard as shit.

    Authors are no longer interested in writing about characters with chemistry and attraction that forms over time. Instead, characters become caricatures of themselves, highlighting their most marketable elements.

    I interacted with 1 (one) picture of Edinburgh on Twitter (Yes it's pride month but I'm still gonna deadname her), and my algorithm starts recommending me pictures of beatiful cities around the world.

    This is nice and all, but everyone once in a while it'll show me a picture of London :sick:

    June makes me think of summer despite living in a tropical country. Hey, a man can fantasize, can't he? And when I think of summer, I think of some good old midwest emo.

    You can just feel and maybe even smell ? the sweat oozing out of this one. The guitar work is a masterclass in spontaneity.

    Maybe my brain is glitching, but I find Nightreign to be more fun than ER. I have not played it, and didn't watch a lot of streams, so it might skew my decision. Nevertheless, I think it's more fun, in co-op of course.

    I think if you can find two teammates that are willing to spend a lot of time on the game, 20-30 hours, it is going to be fun and worth the money.

    If the bosses are good, I can really see Nightreign being an enduring hit. Reception around the game's currently a bit mixed though :blob_hmm:

    If only I had the device and the friends to actually play it and see for myself.

    I can see why it is mixed. Because it is clunky, and it's not a 'real' game. It is a Frankenstein made out of all the assets FromSoft amassed through the years.

    Fuck Africa (the song). It's overrated.

    Rosanna though, now that's a finger snapper. This shit's got 2 absolute killer guitar solos courtesy of Steve Lukather. And it's got the late great Jeff Porcaro laying out that groove that feels like cigarettes after sex (not the band). This is Toto firing on all cylinders and it's tight, tight, tight.
