Just played commander mtg with some friends but none of us told each other that we were playing boardwipe heavy decks. Every time someone would set up their board, someone else would wipe the board. The game took 3.5 hours.

Got sick. Can't eat. Can barely drink water. At GFs parents house for Christmas. Feel so bad for her parents.
I have a really good idea for a novel but the only way it will work is if it's smut centered. I want to write it because it feels like a really good story but I also don't want to write it because my values are actively against producing sexual works.
I just read a book that I feel like could be topped, literary-wise, by a large portion of the stories on SH. Very poorly written with no character depth and a lackluster plot. It didn't help that the MC was a cocky twit, the MFC was a cardboard cutout, and the villain was the epitome of a 12YOs edge lord fantasy.
Wisdom gained from the labors of stupidity can be of great value.

I just realized that to me, writing is and will always be a hobby. Editing, on the other hand, is just work. I don't enjoy it and I don't like doing it. Because of the job of editing, I don't have time to take part in my hobby.
Feeling bored so I'll let you all in on one of my secrets.
I will wear Bluetooth earbuds in public not to listen to music but so that I can have conversations with myself audibly without people thinking I'm crazy. Though I often times have to word it like I would a phone call for the start and end of the convos.
