Are there any stories with getting characters through gacha?

I tried serching 'Gacha' on scribble and got around 26 results, and most have 1 or 2 chapters only. Main reason why I ask is that even though I already have a story in progress and one in development stage, I can't have idea for a story with MC isekai'ing characters out of their worlds through the gacha ability. Like imagine pulling a character from some game/anime/movie/story or whatever fiction into another world. I am not saying it's a perfect idea, but something fun enough to give it a try sometime later. Maybe.

I just want to check out if there is something similar already made. Thanks in advance.

I've read gacha manga... it even became an anime recently. But to be honest, I don't like gacha stories. You see... nothing is truly gacha when it's written by an author who 'intentionally' designed the story. Gacha is just another way the author wraps up plot armor. In reality, nothing is random; everything is planned by the author. I prefer fantasy stories with a consistent and coherent magic system so readers can analyze the worldbuilding and the coherence of the plot.

I was about to mention this same anime. The story, characters, and worldbuilding are fine, but I wouldn't say it's anything special as far as that goes. It has been entertaining, though, and the while it's not incredible, the execution is good, at least.

That could be a fun way to catch readers, by grabbing famous characters like fanfics do, maybe even crossover them into unexpected relationships.
Gacha wise, I have yet to see a non-overpowered MC story. Like the example already provided.
This theme has a lot of potential, similarly to isekai but more often than not. It is not used well and deplorable of lack of creativity.

MC wouldn't have to be overpowered. The main ability would be only to 'summon' characters and maybe buff them, while not getting really strong himself. OR MC could be the 'summoned' character, forced to serve the summoner.

Personally, I'm not a fan of those types of stories. Some people are into it, but in series where the protagonist basically just sits back while their summons, allies, or whatever else do all the work, I just find it extremely irritating. Even if they're buffing them or something, it still feels like the protagonist doesn't have any earned strength, they just have an ability that gives them an excuse to be lazy. That's part of why I didn't dislike the level 9999 gacha one, the protagonist there actually decided that he would train with his summons, and eventually got as strong as they are.

That's a pretty reasonable PoV. While the Mc did put some effort, he never felt the possibility of dying as his summons were OP, and could safe him anytime. I'd be more satisfied reading it if he gacha'ed them and they came level 1 with growth potential and some ability which allowed him a better chance of survival while still forcing him to go through 'kill and be killed'
Nonetheless, I'm quite happy for what you wrote.
