On a practice I have noticed as being somewhat common.

People are drastically over playing how much I read. I read maybe 300 chapters total, over the course of 10-12 days.

You rated around 100 stories, and now you claim you just read 300 chapters? So you only read 3 chapters before giving 1-star? Anyway, it seems like you know you were in the wrong, as all of your ratings have been removed.

Or you have been NTR'd by the mod. I'd be happy with both outcomes.

Just read what you enjoy, give a little feedback, but don't go on a 1-star rating spree. Really, it's just sad. If you hate a story, just drop it.

That’s parts of this entire discussion. How can people give reviews, message authors, or leave comments when they get blocked so quickly? Literally had someone block me in the time it took take a piss.
Okay, this is the end of my benefit of the doubt here. The last remains of a goodwill I have. I understand with my head you are a troll, because only a troll can ask this question, but I will reply anyway.

To not get blocked and help authors, you start by writing an extensive review. 1k words are enough to point out major mistakes and some parts that are good. I look at your previous replies, and you literally out yourself. You have the time and knowledge to do it. But you don't do it.

Instead you rate a bunch of novels 1-2 stars and make surprise pikachu face when they block you. It's a natural reaction buddie. When you see a guy who made 1 crap review and gave 80+ bad ratings, with literally zero good ones, you will percieve this guy as a troll.

If I wasn't such a lazy fuck, I would've done it myself just to prove a point.

Edit. Before you strawman, you don't need to make 100 reviews. Ten or so good(by good I mean not two lines of shitting on the work), extensive reviews will be enough to give you the credibility.

This is a fucking stupid system.

Lets say someone makes absolutely excellent characters, has okay plot and character and generally fine grammar, just with a few stylistic errors or whatever random way you'd rate 'writing style', that's somehow worthy of a 2 star?
what about a great plot and setting, but the rest ok? ah yes, 3 stars, perfectly mediocre.
This is such a rigid, nonsensical way of rating things, extremely negative too. Would it not be fair to at least round up half the time and round down the other half depending on which you think would be overall more fitting. Hell, even using 1 star as base and crediting 0.4-0.8 on each category, rounding up and down depending on proximity to the next nearest number would be infinitely more fair.

It seems that despite your linguistics degree and your oh so excellent work with selling a hundred thousand books you cannot help but be a cynical retard who made a rating system so bad the average 3rd grader would laugh at it.

Not to even mention how idiotic it is to expect a writer to do everything to the utmost perfection. Some writers are specialist, they do 1 thing really good and you just piss all over it for no good reason.

Yeah, you deserve all the blocks you can get.
It’s really not rigid, if you do it to any level that could be considered average then you get half a star. Do everything averagely you get 2.5 stars, the literal average.
You seem to be the cynic here. Why are assuming a few mistakes is 0 stars?

To get .0 in grammar you would have to be writing at the level of a 10 year old.
To get .0 in Setting you would have to not do any world building whatsoever. Or only use stereotypes/tropes/Actual religions&myths with no changes.
To get .0 in Characters they would have to be one note, act the same way as any other character, only act to the benefit of the MC, etc…
To get .0 in Plot you would effectively have to only use dues ex machina. Or just completely disregard it in favor of brainless smut. (Smut can still have good plot people!!!)
And I could go on but the premise is self explanatory.

Where did I say 100 stories? That was only brought up by some random guy AS AN EXAMPLE. The guy explicitly stated that.

You rated around 100 stories (before your ratings got removed), so I expect that you have read them!

I’m pretty sure it is only 1k characters. I literally tried to go back and leave comments/reviews/messages but couldn’t. The reason I haven’t left any more reviews is because of work and the spare time I do have if focused on this forum.

I went back to some fan-fiction to leave a review and saw I was prohibited from reviewing, tried to leave a comment same thing, finally I went to message this person the review and saw a discussion between writers stating that they block people who give negative reviews. I only learned that you couldn’t leave a message when I tried to say that it seemed kind of fucked up that they could just boost their reviews like that.

So, apparently (according to his claims), he's been reading here for months without making an account and saving the names of every single novel he didn't like.

And his rating system is '1 average' and '3 for the best of the best'.

And so he finally creates an account, JUST to give 1-star ratings to his author's 'enemies list'. Very grown up.

Oh, and I went to college too. 8 years. Doctorate in something that absolutely didn't matter because I did it on a GI bill and never actually worked in the field, as well as a Master's in electrical engineering that the Navy Paid for, and, you guessed it, I never used after I became a civilian . So sitting in a classroom for a decade is not something to brag about; it simply shows you either had government credit to burn off, or you are too lazy to get a real job. The days when college equalled intelligence ended back in the 1940s.

Now they hand out 'gender studies' and 'critical literature studies' degrees by the boatload that are almost good enough to get you a job at McDonald's or Starbucks, which only costs you your income for the rest of your life.

What part of being a complete bag of dorks is confusing this troll? Is he trying to get a book written based on his behavior? "Troll dies in the end?

lmao no, do everything averagely and you get 2 stars. do everything average and a couple things good and you get a 3 star. you said it yourself, you round everything down.

I don't care for your other justifications because frankly, you sound like a dumbass. The only example of a 10 year old I see here is you, your thread gets a 1.5/5 star from me (rounded down to 1)

go fuck yourself.
