Probably like a burn out or a lack of vivid imagination.I'm a big reader. Always have been. Although when I was young, I only stuck to manga and comic books. Fictional prose reminded me of school textbooks (yikes). It's only been a few years ago since I started reading fiction prose and became addicted ever since.
But there were some instances where I felt like I'd lost the ability to read. You know, one of those days where you just didn't feel it but wanted to read anyway. My mind was cloudy. Images didn't form as clearly in my head like they used to. I remember rereading Stephen King's It—the first few chapters—and seeing Pennywise as a funny cartoon-ish clown painted by a three year old (and here I thought that book was scary).
Ever have those moment?
WP, smurf.Git gud, scrub.

So I should stop procrastinating and start writing some shit already, sounds about right?I think it was the fact that I returned to writin, as well, after a few years of stagnation![]()
if you are as scared of degradation as I am, then probably yes, it will help you both with keeping your brain from turning into rubber and with making your writing better... I guess the only reason I came back to reading was because I was scared that my writing skills went down to the rock bottom, but I have a ton of ideas, and I definitely need those skills to execute them, and reading trains your writing skills as wellSo I should stop procrastinating and start writing some shit already, sounds about right?
