That reminds me, I've been meaning to ask for "weekly referrer stats" as a feature request, which would make this kind of chart incredibly quick to produce.
Doo Eeeet! That reminds me, I've been meaning to ask for "weekly referrer stats" as a feature request, which would make this kind of chart incredibly quick to produce.
Well I am a fanfic writer so mine if the "DC" fandom tag...I think. But if I had to say from the top of my head—Gender Bender, its the only one I saw on the referal list.So... on my story, there are a couple tags that seem to bring in, by far, the most amount of people (besides the title itself, which isn't a tag).
I really want to know why it is mind control and sexual abuse that brings the most there.
The tag for transgender is third place, which doesn't bother me at all. I was hoping the community would come here... but why the other two? Those two just seem... hella sus...
What about for you guys? What tags bring the most attention to your story? Are they painting a rather sus picture of your readers?
That seems to be one of the most common tags (other than smut) for the authors here. People really like checking out the Gender Bender tag. ~Kinky~ And that's interesting. I did not even know there was a DC fandom tag!Well I am a fanfic writer so mine if the "DC" fandom tag...I think. Ok I submitted a feature request, if you like stats and counting which tags are popular, feel free to vote!Doo Eeeet!
That combination is... mildly concerning."Rape" and "Sexual Content"
Sistah.
As opposed to rape... without sexual content? I mean I guess technically Law & Order SVU might classify as that, but I think it'd still need Sexual Content too. That combination is... mildly concerning.![]()

I think my sentence made the wrong meaning. It totally makes sense to have that combination of tags, just that it's funny that both of those tags each bring in the largest amount of viewers. As opposed to rape... without sexual content? I actually explain it in a response to Bartun in this thread.I have no idea. How do we find out?
My bad, I totally read that initial one in the style of "Worst three things to have in a checkout aisle."I think my sentence made the wrong meaning. It totally makes sense to have that combination of tags, just that it's funny that both of those tags each bring in the largest amount of viewers.
I find the opposite is true, actually. I would never read a novel with a female protagonist. Heck, I wouldn't even read a story written by a woman!
It's the greatest real estate developer! LMAO!!!
Just put "Slice of Life", and then hit them with the surprise "Tragedy".Is it too much to hope people just use the tags that belong on the story?
Although, they do lack tags for my stories and I have to sort of fudge it. Technically when EVERYONE ELSE is gender bendered, EXCEPT the MC, I suppose it is Gender Bender, but really think they need a reverse morality tag.
Sounds like a real "slice of life".Just put "Slice of Life", and then hit them with the surprise "Tragedy".
