Cloud trees have developed a new coping mechanism for distress: marking nearby fruit from other trees with strange symbols believed to denote ripeness levels.

The markings appear to have little effect on the fruit itself, but seem to provide temporary emotional relief to the trees responsible.

I don't like it when people compliment one sister by demeaning other. Why are you pitting us against each other.... just had a lady tell me I look fairer than my sister... and it kinda made me mad. Yes, my cousin sis was not near us at the time but she's my family. They could've just complimented me without demeaning my sister! Why compare one with the other and start a petty rivalry!
