Her lips were red, her looks were free,
Her locks were yellow as gold:
Her skin was as white as leprosy,
The Nightmare Life-in-Death was she,
Who thicks man’s blood with cold.

Thought I was getting better but my anxiety decided to resurge. How rude. A lobotomy would probably feel so good right now. 🔪🧠
I watched Nozaki-kun at 2x speed yesterday and finished it in like 2hrs. 7/10 too short but what is there is good.
It is hard to compare playing Go to playing Chess, but I will try. In traditional go theory the opening is broken down into three parts corner side and center. Keep this in mind.

The first move in a corner has 8-12 moves that you can play to get an equal to somewhat equal result. In chess there are 16 such moves as the first move. Each joseki gives an equal result similar to each chess opening.

Unlike chess there are typically 4 of these ‘openings’ each game in go. With each ‘opening‘ effecting eachother. In general a game of Go gets simpler as you play, and a game of Chess more complex. So when the mid game starts the games become incomparable until the end game, where we can say that endgames of both games can be solved.
