You are a Dragon. ?
Every dragon needs a lair, a place to stash their precious hoard. Where is yours?
What kind of treasures does your hoard contain?
How do you defend your hoard and your home?
What kind of minions do you have, if any?
When you have free time, what do you spend your time doing in your lair?
A while ago, I found an interesting thing inside a crater that used to be a nation. Sealed inside rubble that used to be over a hundred Wizard's Towers, I found a powerful magical calamity. By heavily modifying the Seal and fortifying the Tower-Shell, I managed to push the calamity into a pocket dimension. The resulting structure, a floating island formed from eccentric magically-crafted architecture, functions as the entrance to my lair.
My lair itself is a maelstrom of chaotic energies. Reality doesn't quite work right here. For the unwary, it's easy to get swept away in the mana currents or destroyed by broken fundamental forces. I find the white noise of the chaos to be quite peaceful.
When I'm not swimming in the aether currents or meditating at the heart of the calamity, I'll have the island move around in the material realm, so I can explore the world without having to leave my sanctuary. I have little need for material things, but I deliberately recorded the knowledge and memory of my travels and stored them in a physical library I found inside one of the tower remnants. I allow visitors to browse at their leisure, though I don't offer them transportation to and from the library. It's their own fault if they get off in the wrong city.
For a long time, I used simulacrums to manage and protect my lair, but I got bored of the ceaseless busy-work, and ended up automating everything. It's been a long while since I was forced to do
anything myself, really.
Ah well. The pseudo-sun is warm, and my naps are never interrupted. That's what's important.
