You have a soul partner, but it personifies your worst fear

You have a soul partner, a friend, lover, or family member, but it embodies your worst fear. For instance, if you have arachnophobia, then it takes the form of a spider girl. However, unlike the cute ones you see in cartoons, she is a real spider girl, the same size as you (and she can speak). If you have a fear of loneliness, she might be invisible. She can make physical contact with you, and you can with her, but you never feel her presence. It’s almost as if there’s no one there.

Would you be willing to have such a partner? If so, what form would it take, and how would you act around it- to get closer to it or to distance yourself?

Or would you simply reject it and make it a yandere instead?

By the way, you don’t have a choice-nya.

My worst fear is being alone so this is going to be a challenge. I suppose I'd have a partner who wasn't there at all.

Long distance relationship. They only call when you're busy too, or in the middle of the night, so it's a little annoying.

Yeah, I gave up LDRs in the 1990s, thank you. ? Besides, the goal is to learn to live with someone like that, and I wouldn't give that man the time of day if he avoided me like that for more than a week.

Honestly, I’d still take it. If my fear took shape, it would probably be isolation. So yeah, I’d be dating an invisible person I can’t feel. Sounds depressing, but maybe that’s the point - learning to live with what you fear most.

They live in opposite time zone as you. You can only talk for 1 hour every day because of your schedules.

I'd rather not marry than spend the rest of my life with a terrible person. There's always a choice, even if it means a bitter choice and/ or choosing not to choose.

My worst fear is being a disappointment, and a failure, because lets face it, I am.

Does that mean my wife will ultimately be a tall, beautiful, stern, strict business-woman who's too busy to spend time with me, but is filthy, disgustingly rich, not allowing me to touch any of the savings, while also being incredibly popular? Meanwhile, I'm like a.. poor, ugly, pathetic pet.. thing in her high-rise condo because I'm also scared of heights?

Or.. does that mean I'm cursed to marry a cr*ckwh*re with nothing to her name except a cardboard box, and a shared needle behind the Target parking lot? Because let's be real, I would have to actually go outside to find, meet, and marry them, which HA.. I would never leave my house to do so.

Now, being sold off for a sh*t-ton of money over the internet only to become some woman's pet play service is probably, and regrettably, up my alley, sad to say....... as long as the money transfer actually went through. Then... ugh.. maybe..?
